Keep the entries coming on here, it really helps with the formats.
I think I was asked the question if anyone could enter both, unfortunately you can't as the competitions are usually played in groups so a format to allow for this would not be possible to set up.

I have sent out several emails and pm's asking this question
Not sure about this
One of our lads wants to know if he can enter
He is currently 25 his birthday is 3 days before!
So at entry he will be 25 At point of play..26
Maybe I could have an answer on here since the lad is trying to sort out shifts etc.

Rule 24) Age related competitions; players must comply with the age restriction on Sept 1st of the current year.
So I think it is ok he plays as long as he was 25 on Sept 1st.

Yes Tony 11.30 for 12 start
If anyone knows of any people wanting to attend and are not on this forum please add them onto this list. We seem very short on mixed pairs especially, there are certainly often mre entries from Hampshire (Woolvins etc) & Surrey. I have to send formats off to Dave tomorrow, and don't really want to do new ones if not necessary ;)

Indeed Chris, another good day up at Reading.... ;)
Congratulations to Steven Sheard on winning the Under 25's competition, beating Adam Bateup (Sussex) in the Final. 8-)
Steven played very well all day and was probably the only player who truly got to grips with some very tricky tables..... :P :-X
We left just as the Mixed Pairs Final was starting..... :'(
The finalists were defending champions Dave Alder & Jackie Watson playing against Dave Tooke and Sue Atkins.
Many thanks to Dave and his team of organisers, great work as always. ;)

Nipper and I slept most of the way home! poor BFG had to put up with the radio for company tho some would say that is a blessing!! Looking forward to coming again next year, you never know, we might have improved by then! ;D ;D ;D

Well done Steven on yet another 5 star showing, that 15,000 brk in the Semi Final against Ian Gordon on table 8 must rank as one of your best ever games, KT & Myself both struggled on that one. You even proved you could play the reverse break shot on table 6 with a 5,000 brk, the table that Pauline & me lost in the Semi Final on, with neither of us getting to grips with it.
This win means that Steven has been in the final 10 times in the last 11 years including the last 9 and has won it 6 times.
He also has 2 more years to enter it, I think. :P
Also well done Adam on making the final, a star of the future.
