A cracking win for the Tap with some excellent performances.
Brewery Tap 4-1 Bib and Tucker
Rose M 480 - 2150 Nathan N A solid display from Nathan as he built up an early 1K lead and never gave Rose a chance
Phil R 3790 - 1300 Alex M Phil gained revenge for his defeat by Alex a few weeks ago by building a big lead and Alex only got the balls back late in the game
Adam R 6350 - B/P Chris P One of the biggest scores for ages at the Tap as Adam makes two breaks of over 2k against the break to give Chris no chance at all
Spencer N 5820 - 180 Richard Dene-Morel Not to be outdone Spence knocks in a break of 5320 on his second visit hardly putting a foot wrong to guarantee victory
Matt K 2310 - 980 Paul B No fireworks in this one although a couple of decent breaks were ended by the white pegs
It is now 1-1 between us after 2 matches this season.

Scooner v Atlas All breaks to Atlas.
Alan Messer opens with 1.8k, Dave Anscombe balls straight back, only to break down at just over 1k. This then developed into battle at top of table and Alan always kept his lead. 2130-2690 0-1
The game of the night with Sheena Wood opening with a superbly built 4830 break, Dave Ingram being left only five minutes, got the break back and played a well worked break and with the last ball left had scored 4650. A bit of tension and then Dave put the last down the 200 to snatch a great victory. Not the highest scoring game one will see, but only one visit each and unlucky Sheena, who was probably only one more scoring shot away from victory. 4850-4830 1-1
Steve Hurley off missing first split shot at 450. Bill Kerr got them back and knocked in 7k plus, then came back for a couple more. 9700-920 2-1
Brian Muggeridge missed the break on thin side and off at 50, Rick Cunningham built 2k break, Brian did not retrieve balls, but Rick did to make sure. 6860-200 3-1
Mick Pope opened with just under 1k, TJ built lead with 2k, then came back at end to add another 3k. 5670-2500.
Another pleasing win for the Schooner, and the mystery still goes on where do these players on a Wednesday disappear to on Thursdays!!!!
Apparently by the copious amounts eaten by certain members an excellent stew followed the match.

Windmill 3 - 2 Wellie B
Mal 7590 Nic 3140. The real Nic is still in Scotland we think. Mal struggled to get going to start with but got a 7k break at the end of the game. 1-0
Edge 5830 Mark BP. Marks turn to not get going. A good solid game from Edge saw The Windmill take a 2-0 lead.
Dave BP Tim 4400. The game we needed to win and Tim played some good stuff to give The Wellie a hope. 2-1
Gina 1940 Regg3y 3770. This game could have gone either way. Gina had no luck. 2-2
Charlie 4750 Garry 1030. It did not start well for Garry as he played his opening break shot to short leaving Charlie the chance to open a lead. It was a bit one sided from that point on. 3-2
A good night was had by all I think.
I was a bit confused about the sandwiches. The last time I played at The Windmill there were more snorker sarnies than you could shake a stick at. Not one in sight last night.

Dyke B 4 Three Horseshoes 1
Can`t blame the table tonight, just a poor performance by us. Take nothing away from Terry`s boys though, one chance was all they needed :-/
Doug D. 7,190 v 440 Ricky - Ricky whipped his first break shot and also the following 50/30 shot. Both players spent time up the table until Doug made a steady 6k break for the point. 1 - 0
Terry C. 9,980 v 10,060 Sir kt - Terry didn`t look in any trouble with his opener leaving me 9 minutes to clear and chase. This I did, and as the bar dropped, the red ball got trapped leaving me short by 420. Two one ups and two splits, last ball in the hundred, phew ;) Ready for Sunday now ;D 1 - 1
Terry R. 9,400 v 2,950 Ian - Ian whipped both balls on his third split and after several goes each, Terry made a winning break. 2 - 1
Molly 11,240 v 5,630 Geoff - Terry opened with his score and Geoff finished off. 3 - 1
Mick H. 6,970 v 4,040 Mr Reaper - Kev opened with about 3k. A couple of visits more and Mick got them back to compound the Shoes misery. 4 - 1

Mind you, I can think of lots of players that wouldn't have given you enough time to catch a 9,980 brk. :P And there's me thinking I was going to have it easy against you on Sunday. :(
