I hope those of you who were out and about this evening all got home safely. I had a bit of skate luckily I was driving so slowly due to the conditions that I managed to keep control of the car. I know of a number of accident locally. I just wish you all a safe journey if you have been out tonight!

I heard on the radio that it was coming in from the east... .. I was hoping that Sav might hold on to it but obviously its 'slipped' through. Please keep it over your way, its feeling cold enough here after my 30C of earlier this week ;D

Not much here so far, just a slight covering, but frozen hard.
Be all the usual idiots on the road in the morning who could not take note of the forecast and get up a bit earlier.

It's snowing quite heavily on the north side of the South Downs above Brighton, but there has only been an inch of two in Brighton itself so far.
Forecast says to expect up to 6 inches overnight here..... that will make the trip into work very interesting in the morning.... ::)

We have an inch of snow settled in Crawley. 2 inches reported a couple of hours ago in Merstham.
Counted six skids on the way back from Worthing, very unpleasant driving between Buck Barn and Southwater, 20mph maximum speed.
Hope everyone else out tonight got home safely.

Yipee ;D ;D It took me 2 hours to get from the Albion, over to Nigels at Woodingdean, back to home :o I now have one problem :o I got stuck and had to reverse up the hill by the albion, I now have NO thread on my front tires :o which made the speed humps like mountains for me ;D ;D I was also outside smoking whilst Brighton 'B' were playing Redhill and helped a car turn round outside the pub by pushing it of the curb as it was sliding. The owner of the vehical come into the pub shortly after to by my a drink for the help i gave them. 8-) ;) (Please note because of the snow i declined their offer, But was really chuffed they appreciated the help and offered) ;)

Yes, I would imagine that it would have been quite exciting ( :o) trying to get a car up and down the hill by the Albion pub last night, glad that I don't live around there in weather like this!! ;D
The main roads look okay (from the bedroom window!) but no cars are moving on the side roads that we live on and I was starting to slide the car last night just getting it into the driveway...... 6 inches of snow later I'm not sure that I want to try to get it out this morning! :-/

The forecast for most of the country is heavy snow on the way.
The forecast for here in Dover (where we had - gosh - a heavy frost this morning) is heavy rain and temperatures up to 7c.

You could say that the Colemanator's attempts at measurement were rather indiscriminate. Some definite Tart Points earned there methinks. ;D
