Hi All
Just a quick reminder about the Jim Wilson day. Can everybody spread the word to all their team members etc about the tournament. We are looking to have a healthy entrance this year as we have moved the weekend forward from the usual bank holiday weekend.
As everyone is probably aware we were thinking about running a Northants Open this year but have decided to keep with the Jim Wilson as it is such an enjoyable tournament. Although as enjoyable as it is we need to get the numbers up from last year to keep the tournament running and a success.
Please support this weekend and look forward to seeing you all there.
Jase :)

Will the Jim Wilson Day still be running with the shock news that British Bar Billiards are withdrawing all rental tables? I assume we normally hire in the tables for the weekend?

You should be OK for this year.
Some old git from Kent is bringing up a load of potential firewood for you to try to play on ;D ;D

Simon,
My plans have changed and therefore I can now attend Jim Wilson Day. Please can you enter myself in the Singles plus myself and Angela Pye in the mixed doubles.
Many Thanks, Ben Foster

Is that a fact?
We are buying a house in Burton Latimer - there can be no better reason for a trip to the in-laws then!

We are buying a house in Burton Latimer - are you planning on living there? Yep; Elm Road. Logistical as much as due to liking the area - which, as far as Jack is concerned includes the fact that Wheatiebangs are made there (She's an odd one you know!) My wife was born in Kettering and her parents are in Wellingborough. My children are in Lancaster; and we will be well served for road links north and south. We are lucky in that we can both take our respective work with us wherever we go, so Elm Road it will be. I know there's a team in the Con Club - though Mrs Honchair seems to think that she will be scarred for life just by walking through the door! I'd hate to have to give up playing entirely, so will be looking to practice and get my somewhat shoddy game back on track once we are in and settled. ;D
