;D ;D ;D I predict the following:
1) Leigh 'Ideal' Holmes will eat far too much bread and dripping this year and slip down the averages 2) Jel will make the Stella Book of Records (or is that Guiness!) in an attempt to make the highest break (wind that is!) 3) Mick 'Von Pubik' will become Marketing Director at Mr Kiplings and present the first annual 'Kipling Award' to Tommo in Bournemouth......Tart!! 4) Admiral Birch will step onto dry land and lead his team to a successful season, avoiding the crayfish, loaches and other bottom feeders that normally end up residing in dark low-lying places at the foot of the food chain 5) Roo (myself) will appear on Dragon's Den in an attempt to attract £250,000 investment in travel bar billiards, that can be played in the back of the car, on a ferry or whilst frequenting hospital waiting rooms 6) Pratnav will eventually find his way to his first away match, sometime in August!
8-) 8-)

;D ;D ;D I predict the following: ...........in an attempt to attract £250,000 investment in travel bar billiards, that can be played in the back of the car, on a ferry or whilst frequenting hospital waiting rooms I already own such an item, a 3ft by 2ft version, so you'll have to be quick with the patent. ;)

i'd like to see you playing it in the back of the car :o maybe you could give roo the £250,000 investment. i'm sure he'll put it to good use I've not tried playing it on the move but it would def be possible. The wooden base is slightly warped so it rolls like f*ck anyway. It doesn't have a bar that drops, so you just carry on until you get fed up: I could probably run up 20k but only if I played it all day. I've played travelling chess with Lloydy on the SeaCat over to Jersey, the pieces were held in place by magnets though. So travelling b-b's - why not ? I have the commodity, so it shouldn't be down to me to provide the funding as well, someone else can do that...

Well played Jase :D Exiles won 4-1 last night against the Headlands to nip in front of Rushden Cons in the league ;D ;D Roo had obviously been practising on his travel BB on the way to the club and the Exiles managed to rack up a record amount of points last night although I can't remember how many was scored when they played BB :P

Interesting evening on the Crown & Anchor table which hasn't got the reputation for being the best table :-/ The first leg was played with a certain amount of difficulty and Gary Tippings complaining of sea-sickness :-X after which it transpired that on a previous evening a customer had an epileptic fit, headbutted the table and fell on it breaking a leg (on the table that is) :o :o The C & A Saints sportingly agreed to replay the match when the table has been repaired and we proceeded to play crazy BB for the rest of the night ;D Thanks to the Saints for a good evening :-*
