Duke of Wellington 4 Windmill 1
Nigel Senior 17,850 - 420* Dave Ingram I hit the break too thin, missed the red and was off very soon after, Nigel needed a couple of goes to get the break back, touched on just over 10k then came back for second helpings. 1-0 :'(
Chris Tupper 7,020* - 5,490 Alan Messer Plenty of chances for both players in this game, Tupps clinching the game with a useful little break at the end after Alan had nearly caught him. 2-0 :'(
John "Reggie" Perrin 5,260 - 2,570* Gina Sherratt Gina never really settled and with the balls rolling in Reggie's favour he clinched the win for the home team. 3-0 :'(
Chris Reeves 2,020* - 8,920 Mick Pope Chris was off early missing a shot to the left hand 50, a few goes each at the back of the table before Mick got the break back and ran in a nice 8k to seal the game. 3-1 ;)
Mal Spier 7,700 - 1,640* Charlie Cooper One of those games where the scores don't tell the whole story.... Charlie was off early after missing the split, Mal knocked in 6.5k with a few "interesting" shots on the way, Charlie got the break straight back and was well on target to catch Mal before losing his break as a ball came back from behind the 30 hole and just clipped a peg. 4-1 ::)
Usual pizzas and good company.... the "open mic" music was almost as varied in standard as my game against Nigel though... :o ;D

I can confirm the Atlas/Marine View result:
Martin 10,600 900 John Hayes Tony 12,970 760 Dave Catchpole Steve 4,160 4,110 Matt Mason Grant 17,340 100 Stephen Oliver Ian 9,350 2,060 Bepo
Martin lost 3k on his first visit before making sure with 9,700 a little later. Tony broke off with 8,700 which was too much for Dave. Steve's game was a nail biter as he couldn't get going early on and allowed Matt to compile a lead. When Steve eventually got back on the table he thought he had more time than there was but eventually won with the last ball down the 200. Grant made 10k to settle the fourth game at the first visit while Ian and Bepo exchanged visits before Ian settled down to make the score 5-0 to the home team.
