Headlands 1 v Rushden Cons 4
M.Atwill 3460 J.Smith 1700 M.Haynes 1310 J.Neal 5800 T.Dunkley 1250 D.Coates 5070 K.Ross 3400 A.Chambers 4580 D.Worth 3060 C.Peel 4280
A great result for us on a really tricky board. :) Flicky was very unlucky to lose his 100% record as there was some confusion about putting 4 breaks down which in turn handed Martin the game!! ???
Cheers
Jase

Good result Jase well played :D
Burton Cons 3 Exiles 2
Simon Penny and Ian getting the Burton Cons legs
Jel and Leigh getting our 2 legs :D Simon getting Tart points for showing off which are to be doubled as he got 12k against me :'( Roo gets more Tart points in his last game for the Exiles after he black pinned towards the end of the game :-/ As Anne Robinson would say you leave with nothing :P (except tart points)

Simon to get double points is sour grapes ::) Roos black pin was irrelevent as game was over, but it was a silly shot ;)

Charlie (the mullet) Peel is due some serious Tart points!! He was scoring 'Flicky' Smithy's game and Jim was on a break when on his third break he hit the white a bit hard and it lipped round the 50 hole and into the 200 hole with the red going straight down the 50. Chas did not call one up and so Jim played another break. Ted (from the Headlands) then called a foul on the 4 breaks thus letting Martin Atwill in to play a slow 1000 and win the game and stop Jim's 100% record. It would have been nice if Ted had prompted chas to call one up but there you go! :-X Obviously Chas didn't know the ruling on this but he still deserves some serious tart points. ;D :D

Thanks for the defence massive but I should have known the rule myself having played the game at the top level (Nene Cup) for twenty-twelve years :-[ :-[ I'm gutted at losing my 100% but it is the team that counts and I am pleased that Martin has finally beaten one of us. ;D I think he has got a tad cheesed off with you whooping his a*** lately :-X

Hmmm must get on the Tart thread later and do an update :P

Talking of the car journey, I think Gaylord deserves many tart points for not realising what we meant by the outside of the door, ie. not the inside. Sharp as a bag of socks!!

:o :o Jel, I was astounded and deeply honoured to be considered for the team. ;D The last county squad I was picked for was the county under 21's so you know that was a helluva long time ago. :P :P (I never got a game by the way, I think I looked too old)
I think I may need some practice with the drinking ;) I wouldn't want to let the side down 8-)
By the way, I must have a bowl of blue smarties, Evian and fresh coconut milk in my dressing room or I cannot agree to play 8-) 8-)
Let me know when the games are and I will check my diary (I may have 'work commitments' :'(

Jel, or should I say skipper, it's about as strong as Fosters with a bit more flavour.
