Atlas 2 Three Horseshoes 3 I don't have the scores but am sure Kt will post them up here for us. Good Final to finish the season off. We knew that the Atlas would give us a sterner test after last weeks hammering, especially on the Schooner top. Rick D. 9250 v 2130 Brian M. - Ricky carried on where he left off two weeks ago, opening up with a great 9k break. Brian had no answer. 1 - 0 Geoff J. 3990 v 4240 Steve H. - Several chances for each player but Steve got the crucial one late on. 1 - 1 Lolly 4560 v 5340 Alan M. - Again, a couple of chances each in these one but Alan made the more substantial break 1 - 2 Chunky Monkey 7690 v 1460 Sheena - Sheenas break this time but was off early. Kev made a couple of good breaks to level the match. 2 - 2 Sir KT 15450 V 600 Mick Pope - I won the toss and chose to break, eventually coming off about a minute before the bar dropped. Mick had to put another coin in to chase my score but came off quite quickly. Thanks to the Schooner for the food and well done to the Atlas for reaching the Final.

Brewery Tap 1-4 Windmill - Plate final played at the Romans
Dan 270 - 1390 Gina Dan was well in front and then smashed the black peg going for the hundred, the bar went as Gina played the next shot :'(
Spencer 1640 - 9110 Charlie Awesome display from Charlie with two breaks of over 4K giving Spencer no chance, although Spencer decided to put both balls ready for the break when there were still two balls on the table!! Charlie then potted a ball in the 30 and walked off thinking nothing had gone in - madness ;D
Phil 1240 - 7620 Mal A great display from Mal, touching up after a 5K break and then proceeding to send Gina's blood pressure sky high with a couple of efforts at the 200 - thankfully for him they went in clean as a whistle ;)
Rose 1790 - 2680 Dave Dave made it a good contest with some friendly play, giving Rose plenty of time at the table
Matt 1940 - 1740 Edge It was left to the captain to save a whitewash and I just about managed it potting the 100 with the last ball to win. Edge had a real struggle on the table failing to muster a break at all - not helped by Mal's 'coaching' whilst scoring ::) ;D
The result was no surprise but it was a very enjoyable evening with plenty of laughs - no food - the Romans didn't know there was a game even though I told them last Tuesday when we there and I was told it was already in the diary!! Must be me.... Congratulations to the Windmill on victory and thanks for their humility in doing so.
We were very pleased to reach the final and to finish 3rd in the League having won the wooden spoon so easily last year - that is probably the end for the Brewery Tap but we will be looking for a new home
