Dear All
As tables are now delivered from the AEBBA by willing volunteers and not as a business when Brian and Tony were providing them. Could I ask that organisers consider ensuring that those delivering the tables are either returning home or are put up by the County hiring the tables.
These people are not paid anything and should not be expected to find and pay for accommodation. They already give their time which is costly.
We had an absolutely delightful weekend with Simon Ellam who gave up a days pay to deliver the tables for the Portsmouth Open. Thanks to Dave Alder for taking them back
Many thanks to both of you...

As i am a novice at arranging tournaments still. i have just been reminded that the tables may not come with lights ???
Could someone please confirm that this is or not the case.
If it is we are having them delivered next saturday, has anyone got any ideas where we could get or borrow some from.
Looking for help :-[

You should be all right.
We asked the question last year, and were assured that although technically the lights are not owned by AEBBA, they are on permanent loan from Portsmouth.
They come with their easy-to-fit bracket which clamps to the back of each table.
All table hires so far have gone smoothly.
