Locomotive 3 Burton Cons 1
Well, we played at the Locomotive tonight. First time for me playing on a Supreme table, quite different than the jelkes boards that i've been used to for the past 20 odd years. Nice bunch of guys, friendly atmosphere, good food. Loco are hoping to move the table in a better position, good to have a new venue and team, despite us losing we all enjoyed the evening, cheers.

Playing on a Supreme for the first time is certainly a culture shock.
I had the dubious pleasure two years ago down in Southwick and the balls were shooting about all over the place, I just couldn't seem to control it.
Rumour had it that it had an MDF base and not a proper slate.
Were there any good scores ?

Cancelled as still no table in the 3 Horseshoes! A bit worrying. Anybody know what is happening with this? :)

Anybody know what is happening with this? :) Heard that they were going to use the Cock hotel, but if that's so why not last night, they need to do something soon as they are both 2 games adrift. The summer league is a fairly tight schedule with no spare monday's? people will also be taking holidays within the next two months so rearranging fixtures for other nights may be a problem? |
