Week 4 in the Abington Glass Summer Handicap league saw group A leaders Burton Cons move away from the pack with a fine 3-1 victory away to Rushden Cons, Burton losing the first leg to Damian Coates only for Ian Coleman then Stephen Coleman helping them to get in front, Ian and Simon Coleman finishing the game off in the doubles. Exiles move into second spot with 4-0 whitewash of The Pink Ladies, wins from Paul and Ian Jellis, Mick Loake, then Leigh Holmes with loake in the doubles. Last weeks joint leaders The Locomotive ran out of steam away to TNT Cock losing 4-0, Locos quest for a semi final spot became derailed by Tony Britten, Dave Williams and Dave Barratt, Jim Thomson teaming up with newcomer Rob Scarroot in the doubles. Group B leaders Storm increased their lead with a 3-1 win over second spot Crown & Anchor Saints, Jason Dunkley and Jon Coe sandwiching a Saints leg for Gary Tipping, Dunkley and Coe also getting the doubles frame. The groups other game saw Frog & Fiddler move off the bottom with a 3-1 victory at home to Crown Cobblers, the result pushed Cobblers to the bottom (no frame details for the last game) Ian, Curry time, gourmet night, £8.99 eat as much as you like tonight and every wednesday at Thrapston Balti Hut, Marvellous :D

Yes Ian the telly was crap last night :-/ Things might change soon though cos me and the Chuckle Bros (Ian + PJ) are thinking of setting up a local KKK :D That's the Kettering Kebab Klub :o :o PJ should make a good chairman ;D

Like on TV when Michael Stich was interviewed and he couldn't say Venus Williams - it came out as Weenus Vilhelms. ;D Oh and on Tuesday at the club we were discussing labels on Champagne and what they meant with Dave Snashfold and he referred to "Bruttt". ;)
