Congratulations to the New Sussex Hotel, who beat Didcot Conservative Club 3-2 in the Final, Geoff Jukes playing the table out for 14k+ in the deciding leg against Simon Ellam who unfortunately broke down early in his reply.
Some terrific games with very good scores on the tables that seemed to be playing very well. 8-)

Thanks everyone. I`d like to say a big thanks to my team, who played extremely well, especially after we lost the first group game against Rochester SC 2-3. :( A great response next with a 5-0 win over LHFC ;D, followed by a winner take all match with Caversham WMC which we won 3-2. ;D ;D Chunky Monkey showed how much he has grown in the game with his 100% in the group games, only failing to make it 4/4 due to Leon opening with 9k in the final. :P Geoff bounced back from his first game loss v Mark Brewster with three brilliant wins, culminating with his run out in the final. :o I thought i had cost us dear, losing my only break game v Curt Driver in the opener, but managed to win the remainder, all against the break ;) Ricky proved how well he plays on these AE tables winning 3 out of 4, only losing to Bernie when that match was decided. Jim probably had the hardest set of games, Pete Sainsbury opening with enough in his first, then beating Barry Radford next, followed by defeats against Keith Lewendon & Phil Collins.
A great team performance ;D
HEY GUYS, WE`RE ALL ENGLAND CHAMPIONS ;D ;D ;D

it was a pleasure scoring chunkey monkeys games and you played well mate, leon was to much opening with 9940 in 11minutes giving you six minutes to catch. it was never going to happen, but an exceptional final by geoff a true master. unlucky oxford who also played well through out the day both leon and phil hitting 16k in the final each tony martin coming back with 8k even though rick new he didnt have time after hitting just under 10k. but unlucky simon nice to see people there and was a pleasure watching...

Thanks team. It is a pleasure to be an All England Team Champion again. It has been a long road. From the Flying Scud in 1976 to the New Sussex Hotel in 2010. You have to experience the disapointments to eventually climb the heights. We were flying, focused, and perhaps, we did it in style. G.

Well to make this a complete team update I better say my bit. What a great day with top Billiards played by us all to take victory with a 3-2 win in the final. It goes without saying top performance by all with a truly superb climax game played by Geoff to take us to victory. I also want to say thanks to my dad and our JD drinking reserve lolly for the support they gave us on the day and the odd occasional lolly pop song, without doubt the support certainly helped us to victory. Well done champions, Rik
