Does the league still put money up for pubs/clubs in the form of a prize to encourage new teams?
I was telling the manager at the Courthouse that I thought that this used to be the case, could somebody let me know, I think that I might be in with a shout of winning it :D ;)

Yes, we still support new venues and offer £40 towards a competition. We also offer support from the committee to help run the competition on a designated evening. We can confirm at the committee meeting on Tuesday if you wish for a competition to take place.

After I get back this evening I will be calling in there, the wiring for the lights has been done now, there's just a few minor things to finalise. I think that a friendly between a few players would go down well, I know that the Exliles are up for it, if we can get 16 players to go to Rushden Cons for a friendly tonight then I'm sure we can rustle up similar for here. :D
