United Services Club 3 Brewers Droops 2
Colleen Park 1,180 - 1,350* Alan Humphrey Dave Ingram 7,620* - 3,990 Andy Farmer-Wright Gina Sherratt 790 - 2,100* Adam Bateup Bill Kerr 5,170* - 5,030 Richard Jeffrey Henry Brooks 12,370 - 880* Colin Humphrey
As always, a competitive match played with plenty of friendly banter..... 8-)
A lot of "traffic" around the table due to a snooker competition being played at the Club, shame that the snooker players don't show the same respect to us as they do to each other. >:( :-X

BEERMATT BREWERS:0 BRIDGE:5
Peter:240 Marcus:9340 Once Marcus got the hang of this table there was no stopping him. A superb 7950 break was the best all night. Carol:450 Kev:4310 No big breaks in this one but Kev played well for the win. Paul:1260 Alan:4850 A similar story to the previous game. Paul never retrieved the break and alan took full advantage. Spud:3900 Nigel:9080 Gave it a go. Led off with pretty much the score above and Nigel returned for 4k5. Had one chance to get back on break but mucked it up. No more chances were offered as Nigel played what was left of the timer out. Lynne:2250 Jean:9850 Jean made sure of the whitewash with two very nice 4k breaks. Right at the death Lynne got going with a well constructed 2k break to make it respectable.
Well, outclassed again. Never mind as it was, as always, a good evening of billiards with the Bridge. Looking foward to the return match.
Cheers all.
