United Services Club 1 CKRBL 4
Dave Ingram 2,910 - 10,200* Dilly Williamson Dilly opened with a very well worked 8k+ break leaving me hardly enough time to catch him, I broke down anyway leaving Dilly to take a well deserved win. 0-1
Colleen Park 1,050* - 2,510 Jenny Edwards Colleen lost her score with a black peg and never recovered while Jenny played steadily to maintain her lead. 0-2
Gina Sherratt 360 - 6,730* Pete Edwards Pete opened with a very slow and steady 3.5k which put him in control, Gina tried everything to get the break back but couldn't and after she also visited the black peg, Pete added another 3k break at the end. 0-3
Tony Jenner 90* - 1,550 Derek Taylor With nothing riding on the game, Tony attempted an in off in to the 200 hole and took out the black peg with over 10k on the board just before the bar dropped, which gave Derek the win. 0-4
Bill Kerr 1,890 - 1,700 Ted Stringer Ted lost a 4k break with the bar down, leaving Bill with the win. 1-4
Many thanks to the Plough for their hospitality and good luck in the next round to CKRBL who were the better team on the night.

Bridge 3 Black Horse 2
A good evening with Black Horse , tho the result for the Bridge was for than slightly fortunate.
Marc v Ric
After both missing early Ric got the balls back and knocked in a 5k? break which he maintained 0 -1
Nigel v Dave Knight
Nigel gave Dave plenty of chances before knocking in a frame winning break. 1-1
Jean v Richard Wooton
No chance for Jean in this one Richard opened with 10k and got another 7k for a big win.
Kev v Dave Todd
Kev opened with 2.5k , Dave replied with 1 , Kev got the balls back but came off with a 3k lead.Dave looked set for victory with a 5k break to the bar but after leaving the red mm from the hole on his one up lipped the 50 on his next shot and ran onto the peg , leaving Kev to knock the last few balls in to keep the Bridge in the game. 2 - 2
Alan v Richard Todd
Another scrappy start before Alan got control and ran in a nice break to secure victory. 3 - 2
Thanks to the United Services Club for there hospitality and a lovely spread of food.

COCK INN:2 BEERMATT BREWERS:3
I wasn't present for all of this as i had to play first and then dash off to play a Horsham doubles match. However Paul let me know the result later.
I won the opener against Huw Chris beat Nige to bring it level Ben extended the lead with a win against Carole Lynne brought it level in the fourth Paul hit 6k in the decider to take the match
We apparently had not organised any food so Bravo kindly went and got a couple of loaves of bread so the Legion could rustle up some sandwiches!
