Am I being stupid but are we (cobblers) above Storm with less points? I see the Saints are above Locomotive with less points aswell! :-S

I have now data sorted it :D
I will employ the Shark as my inspector next week when my 43 year old eyes get tired after a hard days work and then spending a couple of hours at night on Bar Billiards reports etc :D

I would love to help, but running two football teams is enough committment for me at the mo. Maybe next year I might join the general Committee if im voted in :-) I will try and do my bit!

Re Locomotive Saints score, please can you check this as both teams only had 4 players and we agreed to halve the leg that could not be played.

Ah, at the moment I have put this down as 4-1 to the Loco, purely because the Saints turned up short, it wasn't told to me that the Loco were short as well, and I don't think that it's allowed to decide that a game should be decided like this ?
Were the Loco a four man team?
I'm going to have to consult the committee.


Below is a copy of the emailed score sent to me, as you can see there is no mention of a 4 man Loco only the Saints,

Locomotive 3.5 v Crown & Anchor Saints 1.5
Due to C&A only having 4 players we agreed to call frame 5 a draw and awardhalf a point each.

The result was posted as 3.5 points v 1.5 points.
We (Loco) were short of a player so I went outside to ring my son and arranged that he could fill in for the absent player. When I went back inside the pub, it had been agreed to call the last leg a draw, so I then went back outside to call my son again and to tell him that he didn't need to turn up. ???
Whatever the committe need to do regarding this point is fine by us.

The confusion was due to the original result given and description.It did not say that you (Loco) also only had 4 players, so It read to me that due to the saints only having 4 players, we felt sorry for them and, decided to call the last game a draw :)

Unfortunatley i wold of thought as boths teams agreed not to play the last leg, i think it will be classed as a 3 - 1 win only.
