Going back to Google plus and its cessation, I am still not convinced that the map will not be affected.
Looking through my google plus history (did not know I had one), the map appears. I have not got a clue on google plus social media, but am concerned that the map may be safe but entries on it which may have been made whilst logged in under google plus may disappear.
Certainly several youtube vids I have uploaded are going to disappear.
Have downloaded a KML archive of the map just in case, though what use that is I don't know.

Went ahead and deleted the google plus account that I did not know I was using, lost a load of youtube vids but the map is still here!

I'm not sure that we are all using the same map anymore after a conversation with Sav but I will look into it next week. I have had some anomalies while updating recently.....

We are NOT looking at the same version of the map as the one I use. That is on the link above and is one I created after the old Googlemaps version became unusable and un-updateable. This is documented in these pages.

That would explain why I could not find the Dew Drop Dover Pub upon editing but could see it on the link.
Similarly the DWMC Dover pub I added does not appear on the forum link version.
The link on the forum is the correct map?

Yes I note the difference.
One is titled
Bar Billiard tables UK
The other
Bar Billiards in the UK.
When I click on the forum map to open the map, it switches to the identical base map and similarly named one that I own. Damn confusing.
I am assuming the forum link is the correct one which I do not have access to, will delete he other.

Quick update on tables in and around York these days... The Fulford Arms has got a table again, but it's now non-league. The Phoenix has dropped out of the York league, but still has a table. Also the Grapes in Slingsby (YO62 4AL) doesn't have a table anymore. There are 6 teams in the York league at the moment - full info here: yorkbarbilliards.altervista.org/ |

All done as far as I can see but I tend to miss things after doing a few as I get distracted (bored).
Bit of confusion over Blacksmths AKA Black Lion, I have done that more than once.
It is a simple process with the post code, unfortunately the map entries are not tied to the Google map entries and so some are in the wrong place. As a part of the process I have started deleting the map entries and adding the Google map listing to our table instead. That way any change of name or closure will get picked up without our intervention (hopefully).
I have a hectic week next week so there may be a delay in updates.

Thanks Chris, Keeping abreast of map changes a bit like trying to round up cats !
Just had a quick check as you said you might have missed something, and there are two findings: 1. Hassocks
2. HHSC
Summary: Map still shows Hassocks in 2 leagues (now only one); HHSC only shows M-S, should show Lewes as well as the team now known as the Socialites moved there from the Cock. Also the word 'United' should now be removed.
