Just been doing some more and the regions are a bigger mess than I thought and precede my latest involvement. There are loads in the S.W. that should be in the S.E. e.g. the entire Reading league! In fact everything from the first Oxford league pub down. Going to take a bit more tidying! When I created the present map, there was a limit to how many one could put in each group (or region in our case).....hence the “mess” Tony

Do you know what the limit is Tony?
I've moved dozens from Reading/Oxford/Walingford from S.W. to London and South East.
But I now need to move a load from Midlands to London / Essex.
It's fiddly but not difficult. You have to try to move them and it fails and then try to move them a second time and it works. I have just the source area open, I move all the effected ones to the foot of the list. Move the target layer below it and then open the target layer and move them all to the second layer. That's much easier than moving them miles up the list.
There does not seem to be any way of bulk copying. It is also very easy to have the wrong layer open when editing so all your venues go to the open layer, I've done it several times and think that's what's happened here.
Apart from the mass entries in S.W. most errors appear to be my first bash at editing when I did not understand the set-up. most are sorted now.

I've had a look and it obviously doesn't apply anymore. It used to be 200 but I notice in London now there are 350+... It's a pity one can't use the "open data table" available on each layer to copy and paste a group of venues. I think it still has to be one at a time but I've always thought of Oxon as more SW than SE!!! Tony

Thanks for the advice.
Might I ask how the limit manifested itself please?

I remember there was a definite limit in the map's first guise. I may be the one responsible for the dividing up into chunks initially, but then Google changed the software and Tony took on the ball-breaking task of re-entering everything into the new format.
All the work put in recently in bringing it entirely up to date will hopefully make it easier to manage in the future.
I will now list the queries and try and address them - to move us up from 99% to 100% accurate !

Yes I looked at that place with great suspicion on Streetmap but did not find the associated post, Should have looked closer at the house name, does rather give it away! Will remove it.

Prince of Wales Woodgate ......appears in the South West quarter, Sav, needs sliding across to the South East.
Just Surrey and London now for me to double check.

The moving mouse slides and having slid moves on!
To keep our venerable map creator happy I've renamed that quadrant to "The Home Counties" as Chichester is hardly in the South East

Also in my area, Fitz (Goodnestone), Two Sawyers (Womenswold) and Anchor (Wingham) all changed to non league as my own leagues totters towards oblivion.

It is actually in Station Road Portslade Not Boundary Road Ok cheers Dave. I've now got 3 threads to change it on !!! It is an unique Road and it is named four different roads in one. North of the railway line it is Carlton Terrace and a different name the other side of it (I can't remember the other sides name). Reggie Perrin would know? South of the railway line one side is Boundary Road while the other side of the Road is called Station Road. One side of the road is in PORTSLADE and the other side is in Hove

Now that is seriously strange, Google Streetmap shows Station Road addresses on the West side but no street name sign visible, only Boundary Road signs on the East.
Map site was not tied to the pub so have deleted and re-inserted.
