Checks of Hants Oxon and Yorks non-league venues reveal the following closures:
Avenue Bar - 1 Padwell Road, Southampton SO14 6QY (redeveloped plot)
Fairmaile Hospital SC, Reading Road, Cholsey Oxon OX10 9HH (hospital closed in 2011) Aston House, Cow Lane, Steeple Aston, Bicester OX25 4SG (now a private residence) Royal Oak, Church Street, Nunnington, N.Yorks YO62 5US (closed following tragic accident to landlord)

The Lord Nelson - 69 Priory Road Alcester, Warwickshire B49 5EA (closed, sold for housing)
Red Lion - Atherstone Road Atherstone, Pinwall Warwickshire CV9 3NB (closed, sold for housing)
The Angel - Load Street Bewdley Worcs DY12 2AW (closed, now a Tesco)

Then there's the ones which had been leased by the likes of Punch Taverns which will have returned to their own stock. And in three cases I know off, the table was given away to an interested local or family member. There must be scores of serviceable tables in private hands. |

Yes, I asked for it to be added on 31st Jan, but that was following the first set of reconciliations......was listed on the thread but not on the map. The second set of checks were the lists/map versus the Internet to see if any of these no longer existed. This is one such case.
Have now finished all the checks and there is one final one to delete: Crantock Bay Hotel, nr Newquay TR8 5SE (demolished for holiday apartments).

Yes I do still have a photographic mrmory for facts and figures but China House stuck in memory due to the post code being on the opposite side of the harbour.
Been thinking about moving this thread out of the private area into the public area in the hope of attracting more submissions.

Should be easier to keep up with changes from now on, and one last request from me would be can the six "List of ......" threads in the South West sub-board be made "sticky" ? (not only for aesthetic purposes but for ease of access).

I've moved the topic to here where we discuss other regions and the map, which is better and renamed the header boards accordingly to increase visibility.
Not 100% convinced it's perfectly correct but open to suggestions for further improvement.
