Hi everyone, I spoke with Graham Bisson last night and can now confirm that Jersey will have 6 Lady players which means Lorraine will be in the squad.
Sorry for the delay in posting the teams but felt we should know exact numbers first.
All players will be receiving written confirmation from Dave Alder soon.

Do we know how many players Guernsey are bringing and who is available/unavailable for the England team yet ? Only 4 weeks away and if needed, will need to sort things out.

Thanks Mark, these are the 10 players that have entered the Sussex Open, so I should think that this will be the Guernsey team. BOB CHAPPLE (GUE) TERRY KENNY (GUE) IAN CHAMPION (GUE) DARREN OGIER (GUE) PAUL LE GALLEZ (GUE) SHAUN LIHOU ? (GUE) TERRY GIRARD (GUE) BOB LE MOIGNAN (GUE) TOM OLIVER (GUE) DAVE DE JERSEY (GUE) As you know it's the first 10 players on the original list that play in the pairs (25 points) and the first nine for the singles (27 points). It will be interesting to see who can make the "Home" match against Guernsey after so many failed to travel for the "Away" match in Jersey! Perhaps Kevin will enlighten us on who is available, as I'm sure they must have been asked and made their decisions by now!! ::) Keith I've just noticed that last year we played 11 singles matches, so perhaps it will be 10 singles this year? |

He said only 9 would be playing in the International. Perhaps you could let me know a.s.a.p. as i`ve already told Steve Mariner he wasn`t needed. The England team is as follows - Sir KT Nigel S Steven S Curt D Jim M Paul S Mark B Geoff J Richard W If there is a tenth player, then Steve Mariner would be our man. This match will start approximately 6pm, after the Sussex Masters |
