:) Can anybody help me (be careful how you answer that!). I am re-locating to the Reading, Newbury, South Oxfordshire or Basingstoke Area in the next six months and I am hoping somebody has a list of WHERE I can find pubs/clubs with a barbilliards table. Once I have an idea where the tables are, I can plan which table to travel to. Obviously, I would also like to join up with a team sometime.
Thanks for your help chaps/chapettes. :)

I'm surprised that nobody has come forward with a single suggestion for Roo. Try this link with a "bar billiards" search on, Roo : www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/ftsearch.shtml?search=bar+billiardsAnd if you want to know of ones specifically with League tables, I suggest you drop an e-Mail to Dave Alder, the new AEBBA Secretary, who hails from Berkshire.

Roo,
If you send me a PM of where you are going to be based (or does this answer help you decide that) I'll gladly send you a list of the nearest tables (that I know about).
I only have info about the tables which are used for league games but I can cover the Reading and High Wycombe areas (and with a little arm twisting I'm sure the info re the Oxford area is out there).
I hope I can help Kady

Roo
If you are looking at South Oxfordshire then Kevin Pringle (Wallingford's new secretary) is your best man to contact. I would imagine that all the other Oxon leagues would be too far to travel for you.
You can PM him as he's still on the BBB forum.

:) Thanks for the info. I am currently staying in Beenham (between Pangbourne and Thatcham area) and will likely be there until the summer. Any tables near there??
After that I will relocate and post back on the forum when I have a permanent address.
Thanks Kady by the way. Your link to Reading Tourist Info got me a B & B at the right price and location ;D

Use the bespoke threads to lodge any tables you come across in strange out of the way places - eg) Scotland; either side of the Pennines; Wales; the West Midlands or East Anglia.
If there is no existing thread for the county or region where you have found a table, you can start a new thread or simply add the details here.

From my Lincolnshire visit this week -
The Red Lion in Market Rasen no longer has a BB table, they got rid of it when they went gastro, suggest delete from map
The Dambusters Inn in Scampton however still has its table, albeit rather worn. I also thought it a really excellent pub and well worth a visit (review on PubsGalore site to follow)
