Found this thread looking for the 2015 world champs registration forms... As Aussie #2 in the world - yep, you'd cane us! I feel I need to go home & promote this great game! Worst case, I'm gonna get pissed on lots of pubs - BOOYAH!

Those two links are meaningless now, the first was of a table up for sale and the second was evidence of the game being played, on an ancient table with rips in the cloth I seem to recall.
Anyway you might well be Aussie #1 by now, as the great Chris Lewry emigrated there in 1978 to become a sheep farmer and I doubt if he's picked up a cue since !

Bar Billiards Australia (https://www.facebook.com/barbilliardsaustralia/)is real and it's sensational. I was in the UK in 1996 and was playing Bar Billiards at a friends place. We played it non stop for two weeks and I loved the game so much I bought a table and shipped it out to Sydney. I have not found anybody else, or anywhere in Sydney who has a table, so I may be the only one! Anyway I have a group of mates and we have now started playing and plan to come over to Jersey and play in the World Championship later this year. If there is anybody else in Sydney looking for a game, please contact me via the FaceBook page. See you in Jersey for the World Championships! Greame

Welcome Graeme - there must be some other ex-pats in Australia who used to play! Good luck in the search.... Big welcome from me too ! I know of three ex-pats - 1. The Adam Kuzimski aka Sk1ppy just mentioned by SilverFox - left the UK 2 years ago in a blaze of glory having become our local league's Mens Singles Champion and Player of the Year......trouble is he's 2000 miles away from you in Freemantle/Perth. 2. Chris Lewry who left his butchery business 30-odd years ago to become a sheep farmer. But he'd be aproaching 80 now. 3. Bob Mobsby who emigrated soon after and then on to Japan. He still has a fondness for the game and stays in touch. I reckon though that you should concentrate all efforts into developing your little group of players in Sydney, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the World Championships if you're coming to Jersey. Incidentally there's also a Bar Billiards (N.Z.) - so future International on the cards ?? As the wise Lewry once told me "From a tiny acorn the mighty oak tree grows."

Yes, Perth may be a little too far away to get your mates over for a game!
I will keep spreading the word over here, and hopefully we will be able to form a team and compete for the "Ashes" in the not too distant future!

G'day Graeme
We just had three sidecarcross boys over for the welsh 2-day and you boys returned the compliment a coupla weeks ago at the 24-hour trial. They 'funded the trip' by buying outfits here, having them refurbed here before they banged them in the container and sent them home. I think our tables are bloody cheap for what you get so....
