Lewes Finals Night will be held on Monday 6th June at CKRBL, start time 7.30pm.

Here is the line-up for the matches, start times and tables to be confirmed by Competitions Secretary, Kevin Stoner.

It looks as if Kevin will have a lot of fun trying to fit 4 matches in for Jean on the evening...... :o ;D ;D

Dave was off to a quick start to the evening claiming the title 2 nil

Mens Singles

This was a much closer game Dave taking the first game 2050 - 1590,before Andy fought back to win the second 5080 - 4910 and then claimed a close decider 3480 - 2850.

Well done to both and look forward to the rest of our finals on June 6th.

echo all great night such a friendly league that deserves to flourish, well done to those who put in the hard work organising. Shame Andy unable to make it but out thoughts with him and hope all went well.

A good and busy evening last night here is a summary of events.

First game of the evening was the mixed doubles didnt see all of this as playing opening game of Team Knockout but Alan and Jean ran out 2 nil winners over Dave and Jan.
Derek beat me in the opener of knockout with a 2k break at the end to seal it.This freed up Jean and Alan to play the next 2 legs - Alan beat Ted and Jean lost to Dilly to put Clayton 2 1 up.Marcus on next with the break against Pete ,while Alan and Jean move on to play Richard and Dave in the open Doubles.Marc built a 3k lead only for Pete to claw it back and come off 500 up with the bar down , Marc tried but was unable to get enough and the cup went to Clayton.
Richard and Dave took the opener of the doubles , then Alan knocked in a winning break to level the score (against Jean's instructions of having to play another leg :D.). But this proved a wise move as they won the decider to claim a Doubles double.To round off the knockout Nigel knocked in a 15k break against Jenny ,unfortunately too late for the Bridge   :(
A short break for the raffle,then one final game for Jean, this time in the Singles against Bella.Jean won the first but Bella got to grips with the table to take the next 2 to retain her singles title.
