YE OLDE BLACK HORSE v ATLAS - 25/09/2013 | Richard Wooton | 8,910* | 6,190 | Sue Mariner | Richard made about a 4k opener, Sue got the balls back only to break down on around 1,500. Richard then made another 4k leaving Sue not enough time to catch. | Ian Lelliott | 2,370 | 11,420* | Jim Millward | Jim offered a chance to Ian after going off with around 5k. Ian missed his first split taking the left white hand peg, giving the balls back to Jim. Jim wrapped it up form there. | Marc Chipman | 100 | 19,380* | Steve Mariner | Steve made a 10k opener and then added a further 9k | Nigel Senior | 20,020* | 150 | Mark James | Nigel made 11k to start and got the balls back to just make a 20k score | Gareth Lloyd | 13,650 | 2,720* | Geoff Jukes | Geoff missed his first one up behind and Gareth capatilised with 8k. This left time for Geoff to catch and he got the balls back only to miss both balls on his first split. A handy 3-2 lead for the Black horse to go into leg 2 | 3 | 2 | Breaks: |

ATLAS v YE OLDE BLACK HORSE - 30/09/2013 (played at Blue Anchor) | Glenn Chubb | 8,910* | 280 | Ian Lelliott | Glenn missed both balls on a split on around 2k. Ian failed to get the balls back, Glenn did and made sure with another 7k. | Mark James | 2,000 | 7,500* | Richard Wooton | Richard missed on around 4,500, but got the balls back first. Richard got another 2,500 but left the one up short leaving Mark chasing 7k in around 8 minutes. Mark got the balls back but got what suspiciously looked like a kick on the split which effectively ended the game | Steve Mariner | 0 | 820* | Marc Chipman | A match turner - Marc off with 800 and Steve got the balls back. Steve up to 19k+ and played a split with two whites (after the bar) which thinned but narrowly
missed the right hand peg. The next shot didn't and that right hand peg fell.....5-3 to BH
| Sue Mariner | 11,400* | 3,890 | Gareth Lloyd | Sue need to win to keep the Atlas in the match and went off with 6,500. Gareth had a chance with the balls back but thinned a split on 3k, Sue got the balls back
| Jim Millward | 0 | 11,620* | Nigel Senior | Nigel opened with 11,620 to book the Black Horse's place at Reading. Jim immediately conceded
