All the above singles games are preliminary game, matches TBC could possibly be played on 3rd November depending on the outcome of the preliminary games. Good luck everyone taking part.
If games want to be played on other possible dates and agreed with both players please let Joe Oakley and all matched must be played before 3rd November! Any games that players do not turn up to on the day without letting me know will be an instant forfeit. 

I am aware on the fixtures that all Chairman's cup games are on the 3rd November but that makes it difficult to run the competition's

Barney not available on Thursday, so our match will not be played then. I've asked him to give me some dates when he could play. If Rick and Barry want to play their "old gits" match earlier, the 8:30 slot is now available.

Martin & I beat Bob & Stuart 2-0 at the Alexandra tonight, chances for everyone in both legs but Martin played the table better than the rest of us and made a decisive break in each leg to win the match.

Thank you to TJ and Rick who kindly scored both games for us before going to play their doubles.

Interesting game with the table being a tad difficult but Martin certainly working it out and adapting the best of the 4 players.

Jim and Mark beat I and Rick 2-0 at Tarring Club. First game nick and tuck with Jim getting the balls back near the end to make a decisive break. All 4 of us struggling with balls whipping out at the top of the table.

Leg 2 Mark settling straight in and making a superb 8k break which was always enough. Good luck to Jim and Mark in the next round. Thank you to Tony Collins for scoring the 2nd leg for us. A pleasant hour at the end of the evening with plenty of laughs with Rick and Tony.

Rick and I beat Dave and Alan 2-0 yesterday evening.

Rick off at 1.1k, Alan balls back and very good and steady 5.5k break, I got them back and played table out just leaving Dave a shot at the 100 to pinch the leg.

Dave off 650 Rick got 8k and touch so 2-0 to us.

Due to Matt Jones having an operation on his elbow and recovery time required they have had to withdraw from the Lower Division Doubles so Chris Lucas and Andy Farmer-Wright have a walk over.
