Ascension is the odd one out, that is in the Western half of the World, the rest are East of the Greenwich meridian.
2c
Carolines, which are ( or were ) controlled jointly by GB & USA, all the others were administered solely by the UK before granted independance.

Roger Federer beat Mark Phillippoussis in 2003, Andy Roddick in 2004, and 2005, and Rafael Nadal in 2006, and 2007
Still not yet the greatest tennis player of all time.

Keith
Condolences to all concerned from the bar billiard family in Medway. As Sparky has said, any death is a tragedy for those close to the family, and friends, and this sounds as if it was totally avoidable with a little more care. The unfortunate thing about sad news like this, is we all seem to want to get to whereever we are going to yesterday. If we all slowed down a little, maybe a tragic and wasteful accident like this may not happen to another family, and friends. Please pass on our thoughts Keith to all concerned

Just goes to show how much those who write for the Daily Mirror know about football. I guess that they could put it all on the back of a postage stamp, and still have room for more. I have to check the calender to make sure that the date prointed in the paper is correct.

To Steve, Sue, Jim, and Heather, and all the children,
With deepest sympathy to all on your loss, and may you find comfort in those you love on what will probably be the worst day of all. We here in Medway send our condolences to you all

The Mark B listed for the birthday celebrations for today is mark Brewster, who celebrated by winning the Kent Tournament of Champions today, to qualify for the AEBBA Singles finals in Reading later in the year.
Happ Birthday Mark, and congratulations on the win

You just cannot beat the atmosphere, and the excitement of actually being there on a day like Saturday. I was fortunate to go last year, and in 2005 to the 2nd Monday ( 2006 ), and 2nd Weds ( 2005 ), and on both occasions the feeling and the tensions generated from the spectators was absolutely brilliant. Here's hoping for better luck in the 2008 ticket draw.
If you are members of the LTA ( associate membership currently £30 ) you stand a better chance of tickets than the general public, although you are never guarenteed a ticket for any event.
