Checking on Notts, but we'll definitely be bringing at least two pairs down!

He won't thank me for this, but you do still have David down as the plate winner.

That would only result in one extra team, surely ? A better idea might be to make it only five-a-side for Div 2, you might well then get a couple of ladies' teams plus the 'minor counties' entering. The only problem i see with having Division 2 as 5-a-side, is what happens if they then get promoted to Division 1 and they are a county like Notts (As Joe said) who cannot field 7 ? I do like the idea of going to 5-a-side as the Oxon ladies might be able to get a team together for this too. Pauline could confirm this. I don't think we have to worry about getting promoted 😂

As a smaller county, if D2 was five a side, we'd be able to potentially bring four and just concede two legs or even five if someone became available at short notice. It's preferable to not being able to play at all due to needing 6 or 7.

Sadly, we've had a lot of people come back to say they can't do the 18th, so we won't be able to participate

Well David hasn't stopped banging on about winning a runner-up plate since Saturday, so I think so yeah 😆

I think you've got the Plate final scores the wrong way round, Steve beat David on the last ball, despite losing frame 2.

Is there a draw or schedule for the day please? We'll need to figure out when we can check into our accommodation as we're staying slightly out of town in Selby

Is there a way to decide an alternative entry if the singles winner is no longer a member of the county? We also don't hold a separate women's knockout, so can we just select the person that got the furthest in the mixed competition?

Ahh ! You've included the Timeline, bless you Nige ! Only others I can't see on there at the moment are our northern friends Notts, Sheffield and York.... And Eastbourne has gone defunct, whereas Hastings & Bexhill has just started up again. Cheers, tommo Thanks for remembering we exist 😆

Great work by everyone putting the event together, everyone from Notts had a cracking time, and we hope to bring even more pairs next year!
Just a quick one for the stats, our players first name should read "Saf" rather than "Sal", would it be OK to correct that please?

Ah, so it adds up in the background then, in effect? Looks like I'd be roughly 270 or so if I slotted into the existing rankings, maybe next year I can overtake San Marino 😆

Not only Santa Claus and Tommo work Christmas Day, last night the 2020 and 2021 results were added to the AEBBA website They were Oxon 2020 Northants 4 pin 2021 Northants Open 2021 County Champs 2021 Over 50s 2021 Special Ladies 2021 Mixed Pairs 2021 Off the Spot 2021 Bournemouth 2021 World Champs 2021 World Champs Pairs 2021 Quick query regarding the County Championships points, it says I scored 1.04 so does that get rounded as the rankings only show one decimal place? 🙂

Any news on an update soon? Curious to see how the County Champs have affected the rankings for Notts players :) Bear with me Joe, i am currently trying to put all the rankings and results together. It is a little complex as some events have happened in the last 3 years some havent so just deleting 2017 & 2018 off the system for some events is probably not appropriate as 2020 and 2021 did not take place. Hopefully you will see some updates before xmas Excellent! :) thanks for the update!
