I did inform Lorin but it seems to still say I haven't paid. I've paid directly into the Northants account.

We have a league match in Wednsday that's scheduled to be filmed, so with any luck, we'll have a new video up soon 😊 Sadly this now won't be going ahead as the match has been rearranged for tomorrow.

Looks like it's a form of shove happeny with very little relation to bar billiards, Lewis:
Rules should be on or in the box it came with. Should fit on an ordinary table top.
If you want bar billiards for your pub, a different matter altogether......table weighs about 20 stone, a three-man lift, needs accessories such as overhead lighting, set of balls, scoreboard, kit for table care, lid if you want to keep it nice etc.etc.
Lewis works in the pub that we play our bar billiards league in, and in fact plays in the league. The number of times I've had to help him readjust the table after a group of darts tw*ts lean on it is probably higher than the number of times I've left the break short 😂

The results aren't visible on the Jersey website, can they be found anywhere else? Hi joe, Will be hopefully putting these and other results of 2019 on the AEBBA website before the new year. I have the results all in pdfs so need to put them into the format I use for the website and calculate all the ranking points etc so will take a little time. Nige Any chance of sending me Dale Prime's scores so I can put them on the Notts league website?

I'd also like to see the AEBBA adopt electronic scorecards and entry forms across the board for its tournaments.
An electronic scorecard can be as simple as a Google form.
To address the initial question, I don't require a paper copy.

Any of the tables you want access to just let me know and I'll copy the bbcode into it. I'm not sure you realise you can manipulate the tables within a post edit by right clicking and selecting row or column, no need to manually edit bbcode ('orrible task) You can do that, although the new row is in the default colours, not the custom colours of the table. BB code isn't that much of a pain if it's in a tidy format, but I can keep copies on my laptop, and just edit them when needed, no worries

Wow, that's a lot of ground to cover!
I don't know if anything can be done about this, but the BB code for the tables defaults to a very messy way of writing it. It will make this much easier to do if it can remain in the format it's written, otherwise I'll have to keep the BB code saved elsewhere and edit it externally.
Sav, is it ok to start off the process of tidying this all up then, and we can begin getting the lists up to date. Maybe we could also be able to edit the tables map as well, so we can keep that up to date with our findings?

I think you may be approaching things back to front, using tablify to post excel tables will not carry the formatting. Copying the forum tables to Excel will. You can add rows to a tablify table by highlighting and right clicking The reason I've started doing it this way, is because the text lists already exist, and I'm just converting them to the easier to read format. There's nothing stopping anyone from collating all the different regional tables into a master database though, should they wish. Well, that's gone really well, it gets the thumbs up from me and I see you've done the London one as well. Pretty confident that I'll be able to do my own conversions (Word to Excel) as nothing has beaten me so far !
One thing I would like to keep on is an archive of the deleted venues, as this provides a quick reference check opportunity for possible new findings.
The conversions are simple enough to do, once you manage to get each list to be formatted consistently. Even if any do get missed it's simple to correct, it may even be easier to do it after tablifying, as moving part of a cell's text into another cell in Excel is fiddly. I did leave out the deleted venues to keep the data relevant, but I don't see why we couldn't have another table beneath with removed venues, so that they're not mixed in with the still existing ones.

This seems to be also known as neguš in the Czech Republic. I've also found a brief rules description, and the game is played almost exactly the same as bar billiards. Only one colour ball makes a difference in scoring, and the skittles work in exactly the same way. The main difference is that players aim for an exact target score, and exceeding the target is a foul. The rules can be found below, although you will need a translator www.cs-kulecniky.cz/pages/pravidla-kulecniku/pravidla-negus.htm

This didn't take too long to put together once I'd sorted out the delimiters. I think when I go to import the next set, I'll change the hyphens to semi-colons to avoid the issues that cropped up with Kirkby-in-Ashfield and other hyphenated names. Pub name | League | Address | Date visited |

I've been trying to find out more information about this game, but it's rather hard to come by, especially as the images from the original thread are gone now. The game is called "Gulečník", which is just the Slovak word for billiards. It appears to be played with multiple coloured balls, although I don't know the significance of this. The back pockets are arranged in a curve rather than a straight line, and there are skittles in front of the front pockets, similar to four pin, but with the correct number of skittles

I can manually put all the details into an excel file, although the list itself doesn't have consistent formatting throughout. But once I've done one list, it will be fairly elementary to add the others. There are a number of applications available on the net which enable one to convert a Word file to Excel without having to enter in line-by-line manually. For example:
It's just that I had yet to find the most reliable, efficient one and was banking on your recommendation.
There is a fairly simple way to do it, although it won't work perfectly as not all the entries in the list are in the same format. It will work for the vast majority though, and will only require a few manual corrections.

If you have the file, I can probably convert it for you. Excel is far easier to work with for this sort of thing. I don't keep separate files - what you see here is what you get. But you can have a go at converting this one if you like : barbilliards.proboards.com/thread/22136/list-tables-east-midlandsSav can then make a judgement on whether it justifies inserting you in the loop. your case (Notts) there is no reason why you couldn't be the one to maintain it, especially as you have come up with a design which I will probably follow ! Feel free to use the format, although it's fairly time consuming unless you use Excel and tablify it.

Green is league, yellow is non league but confirmed. I was going to add a note. I did want the list to be a separate thread as it being right down the bottom of this thread means it's much harder to find

Nottinghamshire Bar Billiards has announced their first ever County Cup competition, an FA Cup-style knockout competition open to everyone, league or non-league. It's free to enter, and players need to only commit to one match per month at most.
The entry form can be found here nottinghambilliards.altervista.org/201920-county-cup/
