Is there going to be an under 25 entry form/ details released soon? We were discussing at our committee meeting about our league sponsoring our younger generation to enter this and being one of them I said I would organise!

Lewis, why are you not on this list?! :o
Martin Cole?! Didn't think he was 25 yet?
Joe Oakley is a no as it is Chris Oakley's birthday and going to London. KK still to confirm (work issues I think)

Cheers Phil, first time since 2009.
Lets also give a mention to Stephen Coleman on his table play out scoring around 15k I think.

Well done to Lewis and Lorenzo on making the final. A big well done to Lewis on winning, and a big well done to Lewis on winning. What were the final scores?
I think a big thank you and well done needs to go to Dave Alder! A really well won day, got to play a fair few games, and the tables were fantastic. I think that was proven by some big scores, I know Lorenzo got over 10k, I'm pretty sure I heard Lewis with over 10k, and I got a few decent breaks including my first competitive table play out.
Only thing I will say is that those bloody pegs fall down too easily :)

The final table (9) hadn't been played so was a bit quirky shall we say, the break was tough and easy to miss on. Lewis a worthy victor for keeping his scores, about 7.5k in the first whereas I lost 6k which would have put it to bed, but then only broke off with 5.5k in the 2nd leg. After that it was a scrappy one with only a few k each after that but some lovely table clearing with some weird rolls going on. Neither of us played to the best of our ability so it could have gone either way.
RE the breaks, yes well done to Steven who got the 15k high break, I'll be going for it next year as I got 10k and touched and had plenty of time, then didn't play another table worthy of a high break.
Good day in all, nice to be playing alongside the 2 Grand Prix :)

A good player adapts his game to the table, not the table to his game. All the tables are excellent, I know I refurbished them! >:(. What may be lacking is players offering to help ease the load on Dave and Phil by getting there early enough to help set them up. Sav.

Sav don't be antagonistic, there is no need. This was not an assault on 'your' tables. You do not know what tables I played nor how they were set up or how they played at the time I played them. I did not say the tables were incapable of getting a break, I said one worthy of 15k+ and seeing as some of the tables played 16:30, you need a table that behaved itself to get over 15k.
