Methinks a little trip early this evening is called for.. probably still quicker than Prince Charles (Royal male!!) Any excuse for a quick practise on a good table before tonight's match. Will be pleased to see you (and even more pleased to see my copy of BBQ !) ;D

Pete,
In a cynical and underhand attempt to get you to change your displayed name ;), I wish to complain about the latest issue of BBQ.
Firstly, I thank you for all the effort in compiling the data, presenting it well and of course the summaries of each tournament. I am also grateful for all the effort you have gone to in producing the editorial.
For this huge, but thankless task, I thank you.
As for my complaint - I don't feel you have spent enough tinme considering your most important subscriber - (me!). I would have liked to see more references to Celtic Football Club, more references to the county of Lincolnshire and much, much more made of the fact that nobody wants me to play in a team and yet people complain thaty BB is dying.
Strictly speaking, I am aware that none of this is your fault and, truth be told, I am joking but hey!! :D :D :D

Come to think of it, I am not even interested now so :P to you. And I have even spent a few extra seconds correcting your spelling in my quotation of your last post. How much gooder can I be to you?

Q - thanks for dropping it in yesterday afternoon, and sorry you didn't get invited in as Margaret was in the middle of cooking my dinner. Pop by any time you like for a free practice - not that mine did me any good last night ! ::)

Well as everyone should have their BBQ 62 by now, and the only adverse comment so far is from Jean Over (who wants to know why her name is always followed in the BBQ with some mention of Bacardi.... there I go again), it seems that I have "got away with it".
The next one is already in production and it is hoped that it can be ready in time for Jersey, but cannot be promised.
Meanwhile, I would like to change my name from "nocomplaintyet" to "ithinkimayOFgotawaywithit" but that will not fit the space allowed, so I am now just going to be a normal "Pete Farrelly", if that is not another of Clive's oxymorons.

I'll think of you as Pete "iniquitous but no longer unique" Farrelly. From the formerly distinguished and now extinguished tommo ! ;D
