OTS looking a bit short of numbers - good venue to play, excellent food and drinks very reasonably priced. Also the tables provide a good test meaning there might be a new winner....

Come on people lets support this not so many competitions this year so lets get together and make the ones that are going ahead a massive success. Lots of regular names missing off the list and get some practice in for Jersey.

Good luck this weekend to everyone playing in doubles at Bournemouth.
Has anyone any information on next Sunday's off the spot competition.
Ie Start time, format or possible draw or when Nige may close entries.

Hi John
The start time for AEBBA competitions is 11.30 (can change depending on entries).
The format will depend on number of entries which will probably close after this weekend.
The draw often happens on the Thursday before at our league game.
Not much help but may give you a rough idea 😂
Sure Nigel will confirm everything as soon as he can. He might be a bit busy this weekend

Balchin out, Brackenridge in. Puts us on 30 entries, 32 would be a nice number  It is likely to start with groups and likely to be an 11am start but will confirm this when have a final number of players. Draw will be done Thursday night. |
