Mucky Duck 1, Windmill G/G 4 Mick J 2230, Steve K 5910 Porgy 1780, Mick H 5360 Sparrow 30, Clive 7030 Ding 970, Graham 4700 Steve H 3530, Johnny 510
The Duck last hosted league play in 1981/82 and we enjoyed our first visit for 40 years ! Mick and Ding's table, beautifully refurbished by Tarratts, was particularly kind to myself, a couple of loose shots going unpunished ! And that after Sparrow, looking good to overtake my 3k start, contrived to pot the break four times - a feat copied by Steve in the last game. Graham completed a trio of 2k breaks lost.

Good result Clive and commiserations to the Duck. Something caught my eye....Tarretts actually ref urbished Mick's table?!!!! I played on it about a month ago and it is superb.
How the hell?....if Tarrett has people who are capable of doing such a great job, do they explain the upkeep of their Billingshurst tables over the last 6 years?

Railway 1 Rssc 4
Lee 950 pete 2230 Grant 1070 John 7710 Scott 1970 Dick 4910 Colin 1910 Steve 1860 Lee 990 Lee 4350 (4 player)
first up Lee and Pete. Pete on and off finding the break a bit tricky. Loads of goes Bother chasing balls round the table. Pete eventually worked it out And made enough to nick it.
Yours truly on next against Grant. Thanks to pete for finding the break I managed to go off with a decent break. Grant not having much luck of the balls I got Them back and made enough to take the leg.
Game 3 found Scott against Jersey Dick. Scott unusually struggling let Dick in and he tlook his chances. Steady play saw Dick home.
Next up Colin and Sniffer a real scrappy start with Steve finding the table a Bit tricky. A real slog ensued and Colin unlucky to lose a good break. Inevitably it Eneed on the last ball. Colin potting it for the win.
Last up a Lee derby !!!. Moose playing a steady leg was really never in any ttrouble ran out an easy winner.
A lovely evening with the Railway lads . Lots of fun and banter and tHanks to the Railway for a lovely spread of food.
