Northants had their EGM last night too.
We put about many ideas, but the main idea is that the league should own all the tables and therefore we are seeking a way to fund the purchase of the tables ourselves.
Just an update also, had an e-mail from Ken today stating that he hopes for all of this to be sorted within 2 months. Nice to have so much time for us to sort it all out!!

Oh forgot to say also.....
I spoke to Tarratt Tables today, and they basically said that they do not have the tables or the man power to even look at supplying tables anywhere else than they already do.
Am also waiting for a call from Pleasure Fair in Kent to see what they may be able to offer. :-/

Interesting link by Lord Cheeky, and this maybe, just maybe, a way out of the empasse that BB ltd have put us in. All bar billiard players and venues should at laest have a look at this potential outlet for tables, and possible rental agreements.

Might be worth a call to the Gardeners in Worthing to see who they rent their table from It was newly installed for this season, but I don't think it is a Tarrat Table

Mercury will sell you a brand new table, and also deal in accessories. I have bought a quality cue rack from them and a set of mushrooms (wooden ones ;D ) Based in S.Wales, they provide a good service. I have also dealt with Jonny8Ball based in Manchester - they are better for stuff like Aramith Ball cleaner and Cloth Cleaner. If you want to buy cues or sets of balls etc. it's best to compare prices between these two.
