As it's gone a trifle quiet it must be about time for a new season :D Due to lack of sponsorship Kipling have been ousted and replaced by Ee-aw ::) Points awarded to anybody making the people around them say Ee aw Ee aw Ee awten 'ave done that such as cr@p shots etc :P
Rules similar to last season to reduce any confusion ::)
Cr@p shots Mentioning Ev@rton Wearing shorts (doubled if worn with a Donkey jacket) Inappropriate remarks Braying over high scores / wins etc Other rules will be added as seen fit Indiscriminate points awarded as deemed neccesary
Positions so far -
Division 1
Ian (The Colemanator) Coleman 130 pts for not knowing wot indiscriminate means
Division 2
Division 3
Mick (HVP) Loake 2 pts
Let's see who wants to win this one :P

Twelve things you might not have known about Donkeys.
1. Most wild donkeys are between 102 cm (10 hands) and 142 cm (14 hands) in length. 2. Domestic donkeys stand under 91 cm ( 9 hands) to over 142 cm (over 14 hands) tall. 3. The Andalucian-Cordobesan breed of southern Spain can reach up to 16 hands high. 4. Donkeys are adapted to marginal desert lands, and have many traits that are unique to the species as a result. 5. They need less food than horses. 6. Overfed donkeys can suffer from a disease called Laminitis. 7. Unlike horses, donkey fur is not waterproof, and so must have shelter especially when it rains. 8. Wild donkeys live separated from each other, unlike tight wild horse herds. 9. Donkeys have developed very loud voices, which can be heard for over three kilometres, to keep in contact with other donkeys of their herd over the wide spaces of the desert. 10. Donkeys have larger ears than horses to hear the distant calls of fellow donkeys, and to help cool the donkey's blood. 11. Donkeys' tough digestive system can break down inedible vegetation and extract moisture from food more efficiently. 12. Donkeys can defend themselves with a powerful kick of their hind legs. Very useful when people sneek up behind them.
Oh - sorry - isn't this a Quiz ? ;D ;D ;D

First off Tommo, i don't think this has got anything to do with donkeys, sorry an all, you seem to have a fascination with animals ::), it's called beastality i think, second. ee awten av sed that, those who know us northants people should know that this is how we talk, so when you speak this you will be adopting a northants accent 8-)

Well, I'll try and enter into the spirit of it, Colemanator, by offering up a couple of verses from Northampton's finest poet, John CLARE ;D : This is an extract from The Shepherd's Calendar, month December. You will note that no donkeys are mentioned or even alluded to.
The shepherd now no more afraid Since custom doth the chance bestow Starts up to kiss the giggling maid Beneath the branch of mizzletoe That neath each cottage beam is seen Wi pearl-like-berrys shining gay The shadow still of what hath been Which fashion yearly fades away
And when its past a merry crew Bedeckt in masks and ribbons gay The 'Morrice danse' their sports renew And act their winter evening play The clown-turnd-kings for penny praise Storm wi the actors strut and swell And harlequin a laugh to raise Wears his hump back and tinkling bell
Think there's a reference to Morris Motors in there somewhere, and also in the last line a mention for Herr van Puebik's friend who was lent money, but promised to pay him back "when he got straight". ;)

Braying over high scores / wins etc ???
What the hell do you mean by that Mick ::)
braying = the blowing of ones trumpet, it doesn't take long does it to reach that level of indecency on here.

I trust the Guernseymen are going to be handicapped for this competition????
Amazing how many of Tommo's twelve points apply to Guernseymen!! though I think 11) is more applicable to the quality of the beer.
Hmm, must get down the Oxfam shop for a duffle coat. ;D
