Happier home at Burton Latimer ? More intimate, fewer overheads..... Burton Park certainly should be sustainable at our level but off field matters now threatening all the good work done. Support from the Football nation has been tremendous but i fear Cousins will raise the bar once again, he folded one of the counties non league teams {all-be it a small unloved side} and he seems set on doing the same to the most famous non league club in the country.

Have to say today is surely the end for Kettering Town having lost at home 7-0 with only 10 players. Now i'm not going to gloat as another established club from Northamptonshire is going to the wall, it can only be a bad thing for the area. I hope the new KFC can get up and running and do what we've done and Kettering fans can start enjoying their football again. We won 4-0 in front of a crowd of 1157 by the way! ;) You won 4-0 well done. I have to admit I didn`t think Rushden and Higham United would win that one but well done for supporting your local side ::)

Not giving up yet Stew although it looks bleak. I blame your lot not only for destroying your own team but also the situation were in, giving away a ground you were gifted by Griggs not the best move. ;)
What you should have done was keep the ground get rid of the football team and rent the ground to KTFC ;D As for supporting home town team shouldn't all these fans following AFC Diamonds be supporting Rushden and Higham FC.

He can't be charging more than Pickering wants or we wouldn't be moving, besides tonight he said at the meeting he's going to spend 100k getting Nene Park up to the standard were used to. ;)

Rather have Ladack than the Beasants and Cousins wouldnt you ? ;) ;) Cousins was a good chairman, how put in alot of his own money. He's understandably stopped doing that, as the club was running at a loss. Beasants were just jokers, who did'nt have the first clue. Only rather have Ladack's money, not himself. Only got his best interest's at heart. Moving a club to a rivals ground is first step turning the fans against you![/quote Oh yer hes a good chap Cousins always puts the club first. By the way who owns Nene Park now?

Hard to say mate, nobodys been told anything so can't say. Looked promising in the week as Glenn Hoddle was rumoured to be setting up his academy there, but thats fell through. Could be the end for plops to if they move to Nene park, as the running costs are through the roof and can't see many travelling over for home games![/quote]
Was joking about the ground Stew sure that was put to rest a few weeks ago , but with Ladack you can never be sure. Will Justin Edinburough be good for us ? ;)
