I would also like to add that we are having a far more consistent season this year which is mainly due to yourself and Trev being unbeaten. :)

C&A Cobblers 0 v Rushden Cons 5 S.Foster 2670 C.Peel 3560 C.Russell 930 T.Eaton 1750 M.Brunt 1470 J.Smith 3250 I.Pocock 290 J.Neal 4930 A.Humphries 970 D.Coates 2480
Great win for us especially not having Grandad Chambers playing (suffering from Manflu). Cobblers were also slightly weaker with Ben not playing. Good night though on a rather tricky table! :o ;D

Thanks everyone :) Great competition as usual and well done to the organisers for a smoothly run weekend. Well done to my partner Rick, he didn`t get much of a look-in on saturday but from the quarter finals on, he was superb. The semi against Paul & Bernie was always going to be tough, my run-out in the first with 17k, Bernies almost run-out in the second with 13k followed by Rick`s in the third game with 14k. Paul needed 18,700 in the last, possible, but the table only ran 16-10, so he couldn`t make a mistake. Unfortunately he broke down over 2k and that was that. I must say that we did expect to play Gareth & Richard in the final for an all Sussex match up but they lost 3-1 on the tricky table 4 to surprise finalists Maxi McDonnell & Paul Lawson. The very experienced Oxon pairing took out leading fancies Beer & Collins in the third round as well. The final though was a bit one way. I played the table out in the first, Maxi left his break short in the second and Rick knocked up a 10k break and touched on. Paul did finish off to give them a squeak in the last two frames. Ricky kicked off with 6k in the third putting us 30k up in total, even Maxi & Paul at their best would struggle to pull that back. Maxi followed Rick but to no avail and i added another 3k for a 3-0 victory ;D Well done to Kev and Rick and well done to Si and Ian on winning the plate.

I don't really have a problem with you Pete, the only problem is I don't like it when you have slagged off Northants and it's players. I have tried to stay out of all this 'crap' that went on as I was playing in Portsmouth at the time so I think let's all forget about what went on and let's all try and get on. Yes my comment of bye was sarcastic but so what and from Mr sarcastic himself I thought that you could handle a bit back. Rant over and again, thanks for the info on the team ko.

Can anybody tell me if all the players have to be registered for the pub playing or can there be one guest player from another team? ;D
