Cheers for the comments guys. It was the most exhilarating thing I've ever done by a country mile. Bring on the next one.

One that I must admit that I've probably done to death is "I live closer than that" ;D

Have a good one mate. You'll be pleased to know that your score on the Playgirl spot the difference game at the Imperial is still on the leader board, so I've been told (ahem).

I was down in Hythe today for footie, 0-1 win if anyone cares. Several people I spoke to said they were thrown out of bed this morning so it must have been a bit lively. Just glad that the trains were running OK.
See ya's in Pompey tomorrow.

Hi Clive,
It's a spare so it's yours to keep (penned by my own fair hand, he says modestly). See you for a beer next Sunday.

Hi Clive,
Did you manage to get hold of a programme for the game at Croydon? If not, I've managed to get my hands on one and I'll bring it down to Portsmouth for you next week.
Regards,
Vinny

Hi Sav,
Good day down your way and an excellent 2-4 win. Had a couple of pints in the Alma after the game. Not the pub it was that's for sure. Landlord seemed very pleased with himself that he'd got rid of the old boys in the pub and "turned it up-market". Yeah right.
Didn't realise you were an AFC fan Tommo. Did you come up to Croydon 2 seasons ago?

If any of the Dover and Deal boys are interested my beloved Trams are playing at Deal Town tomorrow for a Kent League game so come along and see a good game and have a couple of beers.

I still think that you have to go a long way to beat Harvey's Best, although Timmy's Landlord runs it pretty close.

Just like to echo what other posters have said. A very enjoyable and well organised day. Well done to Horsham for winning. Just wish I hadn't overdone it on the cheap Bombadier.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I was absolutely chuffed to bits to win the Masters, never thought I'd get my hands on it especially when you look at the quality of players that we have in the league.
Very pleased to revert to type on Sunday by not winning a single game. Oh well.

Hi Paul,
Martin's got the scores at home so will post later. We won the singles 4-0 then the doubles was contested between the spectators. As for Mr Warren having a "big one in him", I think you'll find that he's always walked like that.

The White Hart A beat the King Will tonight to progress into the final of this year's Charity Cup final.
Undoubtedly, the highlight of of the night was Dave Warren's superb break of 22,610 in the final pairs match even though the match result was not in doubt.

Hi Sav,
Please accept my humble apologies for the second-rate Norman Collier impressions (had to be done though).
I have to say that they were the best set of tables I've played in a competition. Cheers to everyone for a lovely day, let's hope it carries on for many years to come.
Try and save some of the real ale for tomorrow when the real p*ss tanks of the TW league are in town.
