We did, Pete has known about for ages ! I know Dave mentioned it at a committee meeting as well. We had no team on the date of the previous round so asked for it to be moved.

Yep, two weeks running, messed up the break early in the singles to struggle getting them back all game and then hit one huge break in the pairs game. I think the break was 8900(ish)

How can you change it, several Prem teams / sect one team will have played at sect 2 tables and tapped up, according to alan, how is changing it mid season fair to those players. I think you should leave it for this year and if someone wants it back propose it !

HCC 1 - 5 Oracle
The score line didn't reflect how close 4 of the game were.
Mark bt Tim easily Brain bt Dave, very close game, if dave had kept his scored he could have won this one I bt Pauline, another scrappy game and to be fair was int her balance to the end Ian bt Graham, Graham had his chances but just couldnt do anything and Ian won by a few thousand in the end Brian and Mark bt Tim and Dave, we were winning up until the last few minutes where brian got a break and won it Ian and Paul bt Graham and I, comfortably in the end.
The table didnt play well last night.....when the scores go up you will see that.

No sour grapes, the point didn't make a blind bit of difference to the league for either team, i was merely stating a fact of what happened, and thanks for the comment regarding the break considering i didnt have a practice and went on first !
Yes i think Tim owes Pete a beer for that one !

This was a first, we switch pairs to accomodate Graham which oppo agreed to. I scored the first, went to toilet and then find game has started, I went to take a turn after they missed, Dave had to play 3 visits before I got a go, wtf, all I can say is they were lucky I didn't get the break back.....let you work out what would of happened.

HCC 3 - 3 Glads A
my luck of coming out 4th at home and 1st away continued again last night, having failed to get the balls back in my singles at every attempt i had (last ball itis striking). I did succeed in the pairs to recover the balls and finish with a rapid 10k+ at the end....

Northants B 0 - 5 Oxford A
Played at the Cock Hotel Northants yesterday, second leg arranged for early May. I think we caught them on an off day, none of their players really settled on the table. Alan and Kev on 4th and 5th made it look easy.....

Graham
So, If I put you Three's game on a "Play By" date you won't be able to play that either?
Alan we all know and I am pretty sure at an agm it was voted team games on a Thursday including comps. Berinsfield will struggle, and the grape vine is saying at least two others will struggle. Good luck with the semi's......Santa roped in his reindeer and they figured a solution.....Rodolf will be in touch

Here it is but i don't have the scores..so its from memory
Keith 1 v 1 Jon, I started with just short of 5k in first, ending up with 6k, Jon didn't really get going in that one. In the second, Jon went off with 9+, the 100 whipped, a small glimmer, but it missed the peg, he came off, i finished of with a very quick 5k+ ending on the last ball.
Mark 2 - 0 Colin, Mark had two 9k + breaks in the second when trying to chase the 20k score, just falling short
Sid 2 - 0 Ian, Sid won the second with a last ditch break in reply to Ian's opening score and nicked it on the bar.... nicely timed!
Great result for us, especially with that draw !

Wow it must have played better than it did the last time i went there in an oxford comp before xmas. All games totalling more than 9k aggregate scores, how many 5k plus breaks in that
