Gardeners 'B' have just phoned to advise that, due to illness, they cannot raise a team tonight. We are hoping to re-arrange.

Foxy, I think you flatter us! I think we only scored 300 in the second leg, and that's without losing any. I'm sure KT will be quaking when he reads this, although we are playing in the main singles, not the old gits. By the way, who's this Nikki. I always thought her name was Lyn!!!

Tony, I hope the reason you couldn't get onto the table at the Gardeners last night was only a temporary problem, as I have a match there tomorrow. In fact you kindly booked the table on my behalf.

Hi Kevin, I played Chris Oakley on the 8th December and texted you the same evening to let you know I had won. You then sent me a return text saying "well done". Remember ? :)

Just a minor point, but Chris actually beat Mark James in the 1/4 final, then lost to me in the semi. :)

Margo 490, Ray Pratt 2870
That wouldn't by any chance be the Ray Pratt who used to play cricket for Lindfield would it ? Played against him many times.

Old House at Home v Romans, semi-final 2nd leg was played last night at the Old House. Trying to overturn a 4 -1 deficit was always going to be a tough ask for the Old House, but when we went 2 - 0 up I think we may have got their attention ;)
Scores were as follows :
Paul Barnett 8340 v Marcus Chipman 780 Tony Burgess 3060 v Nigel Senior 0 Neil Higgins 820 v Gareth Lloyd 8320 Gary Ridley 1540 v Steve Mariner 8690 Nick Brown 1660 v Chris Tupper 3310
Final score 2 - 3 on the night and 7 - 3 overall in favour of the Romans. Good luck to them in the final.

Think someone needs to have a look at the dates in the fixture list - they're rubbish ;)

Nice try Dave - to make our game seem half decent, ;) but you've given us both an extra 1k. Scores should read 3290 played 3180 :)

Think I'd have to agree with Tommo, that front left is John Babbage. Don't know the others though.

Not sure who supplied the result of our match, unless it was one of our opponents after some serious alcohol intake at the Brighton dinner last night !! The Old House did beat the lovely ladies from the Balltree, but the result was 4 - 1 and not 5 - 0 :-*

To play our Watney Mann second leg this Thursday would affect, directly or indirectly, The Ball Tree, Duke of Wellington, Marine View 'A', Henty and The Romans. I have already spoken to Dave France, and the Watney Mann match will be re-arranged. Makes more sense than trying to re-arrange or re-allocate 3 Nobby Clark matches!
