Has everyone heard about the follow-up to Ashes to Ashes which ends next week? Gene Hunt will only have a minor role, but the stars will be his brothers Mike and Izaac. Heaven knows what they will dare to call the programme....... Apparently Mike's delectable wife will be calling out his name many times during the series. Izaac would have been calling out his own name but that has been shelved.

Izaac Hunt Mike Hunt ???? Oh well, you always knew how warped I was anyway!

Am I the only one just loving the fact The Apprentice is back
This new series looks as good as the others with some really great characters. I am so glad Sir Alan kept in Raef “I can mix it with Prince or Pauper” Bijayou and got rid of Nick ‘De-Lacy’ Brown who nicked the name De-Lacy of his grandmother to make himself sound more interesting. (how must Nick Brown from the Gardeners in Worthing cope with his boring name!)
Not enough fit girls this time though. The only hot one is that Jennifer who is of course the “best salesperson in Europe” (her words not mine).
I would have rather had this on in the pub than that dire France v England football match last Wednesaday – but thank god for the BBC I player- I was able to watch it straight away when I got home. If you are into this you must also watch the Apprentice: your fired show on BBC2 with Adrian Chiles when the fired candidate gets grilled – lots of funny bits in this.

One of my favourites too.
The guests obviously have no idea what is going to happen, or be asked of them, unlike many other chat shows. Do you remember Des O'Connor's? He always asked the particular question to suit the joke that each comedian wanted to get into his "interview"/act.
That is REAL reality TV to me.
Very good programme title: Happy Hour..... indeed

I'm addicted to Aussie soaps, but why do my favourite characters always have to suffer such terrible fates ? Sally has just been stabbed by some nutter in Home and Away, and in the newly-regenerated-on-Channel-Five Neighbours, Libby has just fallen down a mine shaft. :o

Nobody's perfect Dave, some people are addicted to watching films with violent content. >:(
I get scorn poured on me for reading the Sun newspaper, supporting a non-league football club, watching aussie soaps, holidaying in this country rather than abroad - and also for my political leanings.
I can take it. ::)

i,m sorry, i really am, i tried to resist - i really did........ :o :o :o did skippy go for help ?? ;D ;D ;D I don't think Skippy is in on the disaster yet : Lloydy will be devastated, he sat next to the actress on a bench outside the Hawth a couple of years ago when she was in pantomime.

There is nothing wrong with the Sun for a bit of light reading..... ;) and having supported Lewes since a very young age I would agree that non-league football is often much better than the "over-hyped" professional version. ;D
Although I enjoy going abroad once a year for holidays, I will always take my other holiday in this country as we are so lucky to have many beautiful places to visit. Cornwall, the Lake District and North Wales are my favorite areas. :)
I try to avoid politics as much as possible, they all seem to be as bad as each other nowadays.....! >:( :-X
With regards to films, I enjoy most types but probably Action / Adventure would be my first choice although violence (just for the sake of violence) would put me off it.
But Aussie soaps.......... I would have to pass on that!! :P

Okay, you seem to be prompting me for a justification of watching Aussie soaps. Basically it's down to the stunning young actresses that they use, each of whom seems to have a particular characteristic.
That's where Kylie started out - who remembers her wielding a wheel-wrench in the garage in her overalls, and telling people to 'rack off' ? ;D Neighbours has also given the pop world Natalie Imbruglia, Holly Valance and Delta Goodrum. And more recently the one who played Sky Mangel (Stephanie McIntosh). :P
I've watched 'Libby' for years - no tight-fitting tops so much these days, but she still licks her lips every time before she speaks. ;)

Yes Tommo I will back you up there, Natalie Imbruglia is a particular favourite of mine.
My Aussie soap fetish was started by watching all those hotties in PCBH :P ;D (thats Prisoner Cell Block H to you and me)

Okay Clive, I agree that there are benefits in watching the Aussie soaps......!! ;D ;)
And I will even admit to liking the music of Natalie Imbruglia, Delta Goodrum and Kylie.......... although I tend to get distracted from listening to Kylie's songs whenever there is a shot of her behind - thank goodness she doesn't play bar billiards, I wouldn't be able to pot a ball! :-* ;)

I try to avoid politics as much as possible, they all seem to be as bad as each other nowadays.....! >:( :-X It doesn't matter who you vote for, the government will still get in! Very true words.....!! ::) However, is it just me or has it become much harder to tell the difference between Labour and Conservative in the last 10 years? When I was a lad......... many years ago....... they both seemed to have very different policies and people voted for which party they wanted based on these - and their historical background of course! But now, both parties seem to say the same things most of the time...... and neither of them seem to represent the people that they voted in, all they seem interested in is lining their own pockets and saying how bad the opposition is. ??? ??? However, this is getting "off topic" here, so I will climb down off my soapbox now and just think of Kylie's behind........... Aaaaah, that's much better! ;) ;D :-*
