I could arrange work round both of those dates, any idea of times to start at venue, then when would we have to leave.

Ok I've just checked with the old woman and we've not got anything on on those two dates, i would go for then the 24th of November, at least there won't be xmas decorations about. i will provisionally book that date with the landlord.

Confirmed tonight with Dave at the pub, Saturday Nov 24th.
I told him that it would be 7 a side and too cater for about 20 people. It's in his diary, but can be changed if it doesn't suit the majority, or more important the away team. :D

All being well, you and Big TJ need to get yourselves to "Sparky's Layby" just south of Bolney somehow at the appointed time. Unless you have an alternative suggestion that doesn't take Lorraine too far out of her way.

As I have to work in the morning! but finish at 12 noon

Well, I wanted it to be on similar guidelines to the similar foray of 2 years ago which Sparky organised.

But not wishing to make a really big deal out of it, I thought we could treat it like an Interleague / Inter-Area match, ie. seven-a-side match - but friendly of course - to herald a super new venue in Northants, plenty of boozing and banter, and straight home on the same night. And no doubt a long lie-in on the Sunday nursing a severe hangover !

So if we leave late afternoon we could at the Courthouse, Thrapston for a 7.30pm start, and leave the pub by 11pm.

Open to better suggestions if anyone has them. We could have a whip-round for charity as Lolly suggested, also make one or more of the games a doubles if people so wished.

The venue aint quite super i'm afraid, the table however is quite a beaut, Simon knocked in a personal best break of 16890 on Friday night, me ? well I was too busy thrashing all comers on the pool table to worry too much, i did though follow Simon later but i only managed a 8900 break ::)
