Fair enough! I missed the date earlier in the post anyway, but nevermind...sorry if I've let you down, although you seem to have a full team so have a good game everyone!

Is it being televised?
Who is "doing the Delia" at half time?
Have you alerted casualty?

Whats worse pete is that most of us have Watney man games tomorrow thats if we can make it to the table.
Casualty is on red alert and a ward has been cleared for us.

OFFICIAL MATCH RESULT WHITE TEAM RICHARD-Not sure if Richard had an itchy head or not. The amount of times the hands went on the head was unbelievable. It was either the amount of goals he missed or just total despair! Best moment was rolling on the floor holding his (I'll let you guess). When I asked if he needed help from Bella (our nurse) he politely declined. Although Bella did say I think I've got to go now!
STEVE-Very impressive. Scored quite a few goals. Couldn't quite make out if he was wearing long shorts or short trackies. Could only get a glimpse of about 3 inches. (Legs I mean). Sorry Steve cant give you the award for best legs.
DOUG-Who said your too old! Scored at least one goal and made some great saves.Didnt get to see the pompoms though :'( Nearly got the vote for best legs but Caroline thought they were a bit white. Show them the sun and who knows maybe next time.
MARK-As expected won most balls in the air. The shorts were SHORT snd the socks were LONG.Sorry didnt get the vote for best legs. One tip for next time Mark. When your keeping goal just lie down in front of it and no one will have a chance to get past you.
GARETH-Very disappointed. Long tracksuit bottoms worn so couldnt vote on the legs. Managed to nutmeg a few players and get nutmegged himself. Scored a great goal when Kevin gave him the ball but what was the twirl for before putting it in the net?
DAN-The youngest of the team. The only one of twelve who didnt look as if he was going to keel over. Showed all round promise but needs a bit more experience to keep up with the antics of the rest of the team.
COLOURED TEAM KEVIN-Where to start.A few tips I guess.1.When you try to head the ball make sure your not standing between Mark & Richard. Unless your on a trampoline theres no way your going to jump high enough to even reach their shoulders. 2.The idea when keeping goal isnt to try to dribble the ball to the edge of the area and then misskick the ball 3 inches to an opponent. If you do make this error dont then laugh and hold your head in your hands whilst your opponent spins round 3 times before putting the ball into an open goal. 3.Try to keep your eye on the ball.Although I must admit it was a great goal even though it hit the back of your head and went in.
MARCUS-Your right. Your too old. Collapsing on the floor at half time wondering why you ever agreed to play. Did make the save of the night though. although the rebound went in. Got the vote for the best tackle. (oops sorry meant tackles)
MAL-A contender for best legs but unfortunately one was covered by a large knee support. Started well but run out of steam (after ten mins). Scored a good goal whilst carrying one shoe. Why did you play the last ten mins with only one shoe?
CHRIS-Very impresssive. Dont know why it was when 2 young ladies appeared watching from the balcony that the skills just seemed to soar. Glad he didnt hear them say (twice) COR hes skillfull. Also got the vote for the best legs. Chris was so fast he couldnt stop when he got to the doors and went flying through. What was in that room Chris?
GLENN-Bright red T shirt face to match. Hard to distinguish where the head and T shirt joined. Keen for 5 mins then slowed down to a snails pace. KNACKERED,SWEATY,FIT TO DROP sums up Glens game.
NIGEL-OH DEAR. A few tips. When the ball comes towards you, you are not supposed to duck and say f------ hell! Also when you run with the ball dont forget to take the ball with you. The highlight of your game - whacking Richard in the groin area and lauging and saying "you hit me first"
NOW FOR THE BIG MOMENT - MAN OF THE MATCH
Only one contender for this really. The award goes to Dave Reeves. Absolute demon with the whistle and managed to keep score. Must get yellow and red cards for next time.

I suspect there are quite a few of the older Ladies in the BarBillirad world who would love to see Pete's tackle :)

Marcus you really shouldn't get Pete's hopes up like that, the disappointment could be devastating, and think of the Vet's bill.
Sorry I'd missed all the fun before and if I can make it I'll come for the laugh, SORRY I cannot play as I have a sicknote (don't ask!) hope the Op will help, whenever that is. Other excuses lined up for later!!!.

Great game again tonight guys, i would like to thank the coloured team for the whooping.
Special mention to Nigel Dudek as he was called towards the end who seemed to save everything that was fired at him, and for almost breaking my leg in the first 10 seconds of the game.
Next date is already booked 8-9 pm on the 28th June, i hope we can all make it.
