With all of the leagues coming to a finish for the season we are going to find ourselves with nothing to do on a week night.
Is there anyone interested in a bit of 5/6 aside football, as a one off, monthly basis.
Let me know but responding if you fancy a kick about, it will not be a serious game and you dont need to be that good, im not.
Also put what night of the week is best and if you know anywhere that we could play.

Running round a field trying to kick a bag of wind between two sticks, clutching my chest… No Sir, it’s not for me! ;D :o ;D

I'll pass too, as in "not for me" rather than "pass the ball". It would be too far to travel even though I would love to get dirty and severely out of breath normally, but I have better ways of doing it.

I'm up for it, though I may require medical attention afterwards.
Most midweek evenings ok for me in summertime.

Have you youngsters (inc Doug) never heard of a Summer League?

Me too Doug you can tell by the grey hair! Although I could be tempted just to give Richard a few bruises (not saying where) ;) (Only joking, love you really partner). Doug we could go along and be the bar billiards oap cheerleeders. We could wave our pom poms on the end of our sticks (sorry cues)(getting technical now) ;D

Sticks are not a problem, it's the pom poms I'm worried about. I was thinking of volunteering to be the ref so I can brandish a few red cards. Pete we do have a summer league but it tends to start at the end of august.

Tongue in cheek but running around after big leather ball even more pointless than hitting little white ball with stick into small hole and taking it out to do it again lol

I'm up for it - but with all the age, fitness etc. disclaimers already mentioned (and with any mentioned hereafter!).
I think Mondays or Thursdays are best for me, although it isn't really an issue on another night.

I'm sure the Chubbster would love to play, his football can't possibly be any worse than his bar billiards (only joking Glenn) 8-)
