Looks like it was a draw night :P Waheyyyy not a draw for us this time! Swan B 4 - 2 White Hart B If the Loci won last night, then they can still get 2nd with their delayed game I think ??? They have to beat us first, we're still fighting for 2nd in the B league! ;)

Cellar Bar A 3-2 Tarring Club
No show from James Osbourne so Tarring club only had 4 men. Chris O & Jean were the other winners for the Cellar Bar.

Congrats to the Wellie, sounds like a cracking night, looks like a bit of nerves creeping in there with a few early breakdowns!
Also Congrats to the Smugglers on winning Div 1 despite getting whitewashed by us tonight :D haha (Thanks to Mr. Knight for giving us a running commentary of the other games!!)

Good, funny and very loud night was had by all. Cant imagine what Roger is talking about. Couldnt control my team at all lol Indeed, the Oakley/Baden partnership of elevated volume meant even a quiet word to a fellow team member had to be one down from a shout to get anything accross! :P

How annoying for you Sav, lets hope the footprint of this gets fully erased or you could have knock-on effects for weeks!
Even this forum is flagged as suspicious as it links to the aebba site a lot.
Sounds like a server side breach from the host to me.

Jheeze I'm doing MUCH better than last year with this team in the Sun, 1454pts, (only) 300pts behind the leaders, currently 62,000th! I had another 0 at the end of that last year!

Well done Nigel and Richard, and of course to Dave for his first 20k break, its been a long time coming!
Great weekend, food was lovely, drinks well priced indeed and it was well organised so thanks to Sav, Dave, Chrissie & all others. No drama this year so its nice to reflect positively.
EDIT: I can't say I agree with our room being too hot so must have been a certain area? The BB room was the only thing I found to be hot but obviously there was up to 100 people in there at times!

Pete beat Gareth Enzo beat Rob KK lost to Dan Chris beat Jaki Enzo & Chris beat Gareth & Jaki KK lost to Dan & Rob
* This wasn't a typo, KK literally lost the doubles individually ;) haha! Pete had it won with 5k+ after 15 minutes and KK black pegged!
No seriously, some good games on a solid top as a whole but caught a few people out here and there! :) Thanks to Jaki & Gareth for the grub it was delicious as always!

Cracking match last night. Lots of 'friendly' banter and a bit of controversy but hey that's BB!
KK was off early and Chris punished him with a series of 1 & 2k breaks. Cakes potted steadily but Chris played well.
Pete H also came off early when he missed his split. Pete B let him back on at 4k but Topgun came off after a few shots. Pete B made sure with another 5k.
Mustard then stunned us all when he finally decided to break his form of late and get a PB break & high score with 11,670** break and 12,850 game. Chris commenting the lack of a higher break was that his back was aching! Poor old thing! **I'm sure the home side can confirm this.
I started of strong but on 2.8k I thinned a split and it whipped. Colin got a few grand before I came back with a 2.4k break and my score was on 4.2k :-/ so there's the night's controversy. Fortunately I won in the end anyway as Colin pushed ahead with another 4k and with about a minute to go I turbo played the clear-up and break to leave myself about 700 short on the bar, a serious of 3x 1 up splits and the 100 hole won me the game. It was a good game but win or lose I'd rather have the correct score up there, especially seeing as I won it makes no difference now, everyone makes mistakes & I'm sure it wasn't intentional.
Colin & I had another battle in the doubles with our partners playing a vital supporting role, far too many goes on the table each at the end as it got close but Topgun played the last few balls out and the 100 to make sure.
Chris was off very early considering how he played in the singles. Pete B & Matt played a strong game but were no match in the end, all rounded off with the 2nd BP end score of the night (both with Matt Knight playing ;D)

Swan B 2 - 4 Henty A
Jane 1830 - 1190 John Pete 0560 - 3960 Dec Enzo 2440 - 9370 Steve KK 1410 - 5090 Pete
Pete & Jane 3710 - 2440 John & Steve Enzo & KK 2360 - 7680 Dec & Steve
No Chris tonight, but who needs him ;).. our supersub, Hollywood (Jane) won our only 2 games for us on a hard swan top. Very unforgiving but Dec & Steve managed to master it quicker than us by completely avoiding the split so well played to them.
