Sav don't be antagonistic, there is no need. This was not an assault on 'your' tables. You do not know what tables I played nor how they were set up or how they played at the time I played them. I did not say the tables were incapable of getting a break, I said one worthy of 15k+ and seeing as some of the tables played 16:30, you need a table that behaved itself to get over 15k.

The final table (9) hadn't been played so was a bit quirky shall we say, the break was tough and easy to miss on. Lewis a worthy victor for keeping his scores, about 7.5k in the first whereas I lost 6k which would have put it to bed, but then only broke off with 5.5k in the 2nd leg. After that it was a scrappy one with only a few k each after that but some lovely table clearing with some weird rolls going on. Neither of us played to the best of our ability so it could have gone either way.
RE the breaks, yes well done to Steven who got the 15k high break, I'll be going for it next year as I got 10k and touched and had plenty of time, then didn't play another table worthy of a high break.
Good day in all, nice to be playing alongside the 2 Grand Prix :)

AEBBA guys,
I have the U25's cup in the shop for engraving, it still says U22's on the front, would you like me to change it to read U25s? It won't cost you a penny, it's just bugging me! lol
(P.S. I didn't put this in the open U25s thread as we've gone way off topic there!)

My dad dressed like a rocker but drove a scooter like: bought it brand new, did all the mirrors, showed it off to his mates and parked it up on it's stand, the stand was faulty and he dropped it, crushing all of his mirrors! :D

That's what she said! 8-) Lewis, I'd be careful of your phrasing in future I I we're you. Some wag may deliberately put a crude spin on your words!! Just being helpful. Ohhh :( someone beat me to it, he left himself right open (no innuendo intended). Don't forget the dress code....... v v v v v v v v v v v v Hoodies ! ;D Haha.. This is U25s not U16s! Hoodies are so noughties (00's) I believe the youth of the tenties (10's) wear this sort of thing: "] Drainpipes, plimsolls, an 8 year old's T-shirt and of course the Justin Beiber hair. I'm seriously considering joining the dress code of the Grand Prix and going full Tux, any excuse to dust it off and go 007 stylie :D

Nice one Enzo but I found the pagination didn't quite work when printing 2 per page. Tony Hi Tony, you're totally right, when I tested it it was fine but between adding the AEBBA logo and re-uploading I managed to muddle the order up almost completely backwards! The Mrs was rushing me out the door though so I blame her haha! :P I'll keep your copy I can never get my software to do what you have and put 2 on a page properly, it always prints out weird so I prefer 2 to a page, how do you do that?

Swan B 5 - 1 Henty B
Enzo 5240 - 1520 Dave Pete 5860 - 2880 Melv kk 1740 - 1340 Dan Chris 5210 - 800 Russell KK & Chris 1400 - 2030 Melv & Russell Enzo & Pete 2850 - 1490 Dave & Dan
No your eyes aren't deceiving you, the Swan B HAS ACTUALLY WON A GAME!!
A very strange top tonight, playable and quite nice at times but something weird going on that threw a few people.
The home side were strong from the start but good games and play all round, with the usual laughs with the Henty boys.

Clive, I was going to explain to you how to do it but I realised I could do it in that time and upload it ::) You have to print '2 to a page' along with any double sided options you have in your printing settings. Or you have to print page 1, turn over print p2, new sheet print p3, turn over etc docs.google.com/open?id=0B3LILge-tdQ8ZDMxRWZRN1ZtRTQSorry for the external link -> mods please edit and upload as necessary

I will be proposing that these rules are adopted by SCBBA at the next AGM to bring the rules in line with AEBBA. I'm glad you are Dave, I fear I would be swatted out the court. :)

Doh!
Thanks Sean even better! You must all know by now my brain is too quick for the rest of me, which is my downfall, and as a result I end up being bad at keeping time! Go figure.
See you all out there :D

Swan B 3 - 3 Dolphin B
Chris Oakley 2180 - 5330 Bill Harrison Kristian Knudson 1910 - 2460 Mark Brown Pete Hickman BP - 2460 Dave East Lorenzo Hickman 9920 - 1750 Hayley Tunstall Pete & Chris 3230 - 2670 Mark & Hayley Enzo & KK 3670 - 3280 Bill & Dave
Chris & Bill were neck and neck for the majority, it was only a mater of time until someone got a break going, Bill did with a nice 3k to put the away side in front. 1-0
KK & Mark battled it out, similar to the first, with Mark coming from behind to finish it off in the closing minutes. 2-0
Pete had the better of Coach with around 4.5k until the last ball, behind the 10, where he came off 3 cushions to take the black. 3-0
I needed a win to keep our chances of a draw alive, a 9290 break secured this for us. 3-1
Mark lost his opening 3.5k break which, in hindsight, would have won the game and the match leaving the door open for Pete & Chris. 3-2
The last game came down to the wire, with only 5 balls left after the bar it was anybody's game. Bill had a chance if he stayed on the table but fortunately it was my turn just at the right time and I made sure. 3-3

Sorry, forgot about Muppet Oakley! Not that he's much competition anyway (HAHA!!) :)
Lewis, why are you not on this list?! :o
Martin Cole?! Didn't think he was 25 yet?
Joe Oakley is a no as it is Chris Oakley's birthday and going to London. KK still to confirm (work issues I think)
