I know you Northants mob don't drink, you're just the same as us Suffolk mob, tea total until the bar opens

Just a bit worried, last time we were up your way we ended up eating curry and it was a messy night all-round and there were only a few of us there

I have to back Northants up here and confirm I received a message from them several weeks ago with ALL the details and I turn sent out a text message to as many Suffolk players as I could and asked these people to spread the word. Initially the response was good and a Suffolk weekend piss up looked on the cards, then sods law, this years football fixtures were announced. The fa picking the Sunday for the Ipswich Norwich clash. I have tried to keep the Northants team updated and they will have the names of our players by early next week. While i do feel guilty that at the moment none of us are entering the three pin, it isn't our game hence the football comes first, but I do honestly feel sorry for them at the slow response they are getting, some of us know how much effort goes into getting an open off the ground and it can be sole destroying when entries are slow coming in. But knowing the Northants crew I'm sure it will be a great weekend and I hope the entries flood in over the next couple of days

Am surprised there are no entries from Suffolk As already explained, there will be a few Suffolk players for the 4 pin on Saturday but the main open clashes with a Sunday football match when the tractor boys take on the budgies from norfolk

I'm not too sure how up to date the map is that ive been looking at, , but it shows the north street tavern as a four pin non league table, the tavern does have a team and they are indeed in the Sudbury league. There is also one new venue with a table, at the moment four pin non league but they should be joining the league next season. The Brook inn, 241 Bures Rd, Great Cornard, Sudbury CO10 0JQ Cheers Dave, map is only as up to date as the information we receive from locals/visitors - info always welcome
Sav
The Brook (supreme table) is now a four pin league venue as they have entered two teams into the Sudbury league for the coming season but it does sound like the five bells in great Cornard is now a four pin NON league venue as they have failed to enter a team into the league

Hadleigh Cock and The Bay Horse met at Cornard Five Bells in this years K.O. Cup Final. The Bay Horse took an early lead by winning both doubles and this was extended when the opening singles also went the way of the Sudbury team. The Cock stopped the rot in the following game but the tie was over as a contest in the next as The Bay made it 4-1. The two remaining games were shared giving a 5-2 scoreline in favour of The Bay Horse.
