No wonder I can't get started in the summer league. Look like they got the two tops mixed up with the bases when they recovered the blue table Stormin aka Gordon Bennett That explains why I've managed to score some points this year.

Just a quick thought on this subject before I crawl back under my rock. Why not have all the open pairs competitions start with the normal points and then competitions such as Jersey will have enhanced points allocated such as normal open pairs points x2. This would appear to be a fairer system then having a pairs competition with normal points x50%. In this way you will not make a pairs competition feel under valued. Just a thought. Good night, now back to my rock.

Congratulations to Baulkliners for topping the league and Layabouts for second place. Temperature a cool 27c in Aus, see you all in a couple of weeks. Bob Bring us back a piece of the wreckage from Flight MH370 if you find anything unusual whilst out beach combing. I didn't know a beach had hair

Finally found my old records.
The pictures are from the 1994/1995 season.
Trevor was the Island champion, not sure who he beat in the final.
Beck & Chapple won the pairs.

The Riley I sold a year ago was finally picked up yesterday and will shortly be on its way to France. Could we have an excuse for a French trip in the future?

Had a works day out in Sark a couple of years back and although a little under the weather (drunk) there was a table in the Bel Air at the top of the hill. Could be a good excuse for a BB day out to investigate if its still there.

I agree with the comments above, oge has done a tremendous job this year with the summer league.
I think the idea of a mini Gsy open is a good idea and would take part.

22, According to their autobiography Led Zep was named by Keith Moon after declaring that they would go down like a lead ballon. It has been rumoured that Alice Cooper was named after playing with a ouiji board but this has been declared as untrue by Mr FD Furnier, however I believe that Cheap Trick is the answer.
