This is true, I also reminded them that if they don't play, they will not receive any ranking points!

Hi guys,
I know the rules on the subject are somewhere but I can't seem to find them.
I'm under the impression the U25 competition is on in July, but Damo's 25th Birthday is on June 26th and he's never played (first season in bb!)
Is the U25 rule based on year.. or what? ;D

There never seems to be a table on the forum, so I thought I'd add one for easy reference! | p | w | d | l | gf | ga | Diff | pts | Dolphin A | 15 | 10 | 3 | 2 | 63 | 27 | 36 | 23 | Henty A | 15 | 9 | 4 | 2 | 57 | 33 | 24 | 22 | Loci | 15 | 8 | 6 | 1 | 56 | 34 | 22 | 22 | Swan A | 14 | 8 | 5 | 1 | 55 | 29 | 26 | 21 | Swan B | 15 | 6 | 4 | 5 | 50 | 40 | 10 | 16 | BLEP | 15 | 5 | 2 | 8 | 40 | 50 | -10 | 12 | Dolphin B | 16 | 1 | 8 | 7 | 39 | 57 | -18 | 10 | Henty B | 15 | 2 | 2 | 11 | 24 | 66 | -42 | 6 | Dew Drop | 15 | 1 | 2 | 12 | 22 | 68 | -46 | 4 |

Swan B 5 - 1 Henty B
Good laugh as always, Dan managed to stop the whitewash in the doubles with a lovely little break ;D

BLEP 4 - 2 Swan B
It was my turn to sit out the singles in this one, and painfully watched everyone but Pete H let the table get the better of them.
Pete H won in the singles an doubles to a more respectable 4-2.
No sandwiches were provided, so one of our oponents went over and got sausages and chips for everyone from over the chippy so big thanks for that!! ;D

Swan B 2 - 4 Dolphin A
Scores to follow, couple of games could've gone either way!
I got the better of Trevor to make it 1-0, and then Chris Oakley quickly made it 2-0.
Chris Cox then got a taste of his own medicine, when Dave blew him off the table with 10k.
Barry played Pete Brown next, where an early lead seemed an obvious win for Barry after Pete failed to get much off the break. Pete did come back with minuted to spare, chasing down 7.5k, and got close to 7k as the bar dropped.
The doubles was close with myself and Chris O taking on Dave and Trevor (I think!!), with barely 3k each it got close but no cigar, we needed one little break! (Annoyed at the fact they get the 5th break!!)
The last doubles was a poor performance from Pete and Chris C I must admit (but they both claim to not be keen on doubles.. now they tell me!)

I need to check with Dave whether wk 6 vs the schooner he has the score as 3-2 or 4-1. It was indeed 4-1 and Chris Oakley was the only loser, I believe the first game's scores between Damo and Andy were written down the wrong way around.

TJ, I posted this before the schooner results came in ;D
I have West Tarring Club as played 13 as I still had the data in there from when I was informed the Schooner conceeded to the West Tarring Club, and have only just found out about the discussion in reference to this at the last committee meeting, and they will have to re-arrange.
Amended.

Romans 0 - 5 Gardeners B
D.Roberts 1330 - 2390 P.Hickman R.Pettiford 1690 - 3020 D.Hickman D.Bartram 2450 - 3640 C.Oakley S.Bettles 460 - 1190 L.Hickman M.Moore BP - 1830 D.Driscoll
Great battle of the titans on a very unforgiving table, the breaks took the high scores of the night as getting it back was near impossible. With the exeption of Damo, who decided to get a lovely 3k against the break. I took the wooden spoon for our team with just over 1k :$ as I managed to lose more than I scored!
Pizza & Garlic bread went down a treat!

Wrong week dave, they are for week 10.
Week 9 is
Henty A 3 - 2 Marine View A Marine View B - Henty B West Tarring Club 3 - 2 Romans Gardeners B 3 - 2 Schooner
I don't have the scores for our match as I posted it on the way home as not to be docked a point for late card. I'll apologise now to Dave Jones, as after I'd drowned my sorrows after my loss, I think I forgot to put stamp on it, as I still have a full book in my folder :( Sorry!

Marine View A 3 - 2 Gardeners B
J.Hayes 2640 - 1760 C.Oakley B.Thomas 5140 - 1340 D.Driscoll Bepo 1060 - 5020 L.Hickman M.Mason - BP - 2100 P.Hickman D.Catchpole 3120 - BP D.Hickman
Very good game of bar billiards on a much nicer top. Dispite some of the difference in socre, the games were quite evenly matched, with the best person winning in the end. John got the marine view off to a good start beating an unlucky Chris not amounting to anything off the break, leaving the door wide open. Bob quickly made it 2-0, putting up a good score to chace off the break, and not giving him much of a shout at the table. Not wanting to lose the match this early on, I thought it best I give it a crack, losing my initial 1500 break or so but quickly getting back on top with a 3260 break, leaving a bit much to be asked of Bepo. Undefeated Matt the played Pete, who battled it right to the very end with Pete putting in a late 600 break to just take the game away from Matt. Then came the decider, Damo started out disappinted that he under-hit his first break, dispite the perfect angle, there just wasn't enough steam in the roller, resulting in coming off the table earlier than he expected. The two players were evens until just after half way when Damo just couldn't quite hold on to the scores his apponent was starting to rack up.
Great game, nice to see a playable Marine View table, well done!

Swan B 3 - 3 Swan A
Chris C 3280 - 440 Phil Pete B 3720 - 650 Alan Enzo 460 - 14840 Brian Chris O 5 - 7410 Adam Chris & Chris 5120 - 4180 Phil & Alan Pete & Pete 3190 - 4680 Brian & Nikki
Top game of BB. The right score in the end, could've gone either way. Highest break would have been Chris C on 9.5k but left a split shot short of the 100 in line with the black and missed the swerve shot by mm's. Therefore Brian was highest break at 7390. Chris C went off with the said 9.5k break to dampen Phil's positivity, only allowing him to score 440. 1-0 B Side. Pete B dominated the table but Alan had no luck whatsoever leading to a string of no scores. 2-0 B Side. I then stepped up and put 3 down an left the one up ball a cm or 2 short of the hole, leaving the gate wide open for Brian who played very well straight off with 7k, then left me to pot a 10 ball and double kiss the next to leave him on for the 7390 break, giving the 14k score. After sandwiches, Phil & Alan took an early league and seemed comfortable for the win, but Chris O brought one of his trademark late breaks and made it 3-2 home side. Pete & Pete in the last game were the comfortable ones by some 3k until the last 5 minutes where Brian cleared up the balls and put in a late 4k break to pull a 3-3 draw.

Gardeners B 3 - 2 Henty B
Pete 1950 - 1310 Gareth Dan 2190 - 2780 Hayley Enzo 2150 - 3500 Bill Damo 3330 - 780 Gary Jane 1940 - 1540 Anna
Great game all round, even matches throughout, quite a few could've gone either way. Table has been changed once again, very tricky up the end and the 1-up still isn't right. Pete and Gareth struggled to put down over 1k until a last minute 400 break from Pete sealed the 1-0 lead. Our landlord Dan had been on their annual golf do so he had had a few too many to be a proper match for Hayley, although it was a respectable score given his 'condition' :)
Bill put an early lead up against me from the start, and I just couldn't get back on top even though I had the chance to at the end finally getting on the break and rushing into a mistake. Damo is quickly becoming our wildcard, as his form had plateaued until recent, with a beautiful mid-game break of 2290 (best of season so far) ending up with our team high of over 3k, this proved too much for Gaz. Talking of wildcards, our 5th man Chris Oakley was 'under the weather' after too many Xmas drinks ;) therefore we drafted in my mum to play. Anna sportingly opted to put herself up against Jane to make a fairer game. It was a very close game until the last few minutes where Jane hit a 1080 break from nowhere (her highest competitive break).
3 - 2 in the end. Great game of BB to finish off the season (this does mean Hayley is now 0.5pts ahead of me in the current masters rankings though! :( )
