I am about to start recovering the AEBBA tables. I have done a deal with Hainsworth for their Match cloth at £30 a set. Match is noticeably better than Strachan 6811 TG (West of England), with a shorter denser knap that requires less maintenance.
I am going to get one set of their new super fine cloth Precision to try on one of my tables. I am not using it on the competition tables this time as I cannot be sure of its durability. I have it on my snooker table and it is very slightly faster than Match on a roll test. Match in its turn is slightly faster than 6811TG.
Does anyone want any cloth on the back of this order, remembering it will be delivered to me. I should be at the intercounties and the Berks Open.
I am away for the next few days and will be confirming the order on Monday / Tuesday.

Ours (conservatory) table could do with a recover after you are free of the AEBBA table commitments, Sav.

That was fun, Hainsworths have not got a clue about bar billiards tables and found great difficulty in understanding that the slate is shorter than the side cushion!!
Ninety two feet of two metre wide cloth ordered!!, much draining of a poor pensioner's pennies!

ASAP please.
For the Guernsey chappies postage is not cheap as you count as overseas furriners to Royal Mail, also it will have to go though customs. Any contacts to carry it from the mainland? Postage for four sets to Guernsey is about £18 el cheapo or £20 RM secure Special Delivery (cheaper as two parcels @ £10 for some reason).
Let me know Guernsey.

Cloth has arrived this lunchtime, so I will be starting on the tables tomorrow morning.
Hainsworth have supplied seven foot pool sets which is a waste of cloth with lots of off-cuts. no point in paying postage on that to Guernsey as the extra weight means considerably more postage, so I will trim those down.
