I meant while 'rimming' in the hole Gandalf? you know, going around the rim. Tommo, Sudbury have that rule. Taffy I am truly at a loss as to what you are trying to discuss here and achieve. I am truly concerned that any new player will just look at this thread and think why bother (with all this controversy) and want to play Bar Billiards - totally not promoting a friendly game at all. Would be fabulous if we could see some positive thoughts towards attracting new players. If it is a Sudbury Rule then it remains a Sudbury Rule and is not AEBBA related or up for discussion within the AEBBA. I truly wish you would understand that when Sudbury hold their open we totally abide by their rules and no one wants to change them!!! As for 3 pin it is a foul. Not truly sure why you are questioning all the rules. A player pays their entry fee - they abide by the rules of the Open Competition/County or AEBBA. You could of course arrange your own Open/Tournament Taffy which would include your leagues rules that you seem to want to introduce. Players then could decide whether to enter or not re your competition

I agree Bob.
This thread has gone from interesting to nasty.
Being rude to anyone will not be tolerated, especially moderators, and doubly especially to nice moderators.
We also have to remember in our posts that a lot of people use mobiles now and long messages are NOT compatible with this when checking for new posts.
Thread will be locked now and I think we have discussed this (non-controversial) subject enough.
